Kenmore Vertical Modular Washer Spin Bearing

2 year old Kenmore Washer noisy spin cycle. Wouldn't start a cycle. Lid lock flashing.
Ran Manual Diagnostic cycle, manual spin cycle. That got it to do this spin.

This is VERY common with Whirlpool made washers of this type. Go get yourself a Speed Queen.

its the clutch pulley grinding, you dont know shit.

most of the times its the clutch pulley that is unscrewed and grinding on the plastic guard at the bottom. i am a repairman and its this problem 90$ of the time.

If it has LED lights under the timer, stay away! haha In their current state, these are one of the worst washing machines ever produced. Scrap yards everywhere get loads of these each week. Stick with the older direct drive (with the agitator) Whirlpool made washers or the newer LG top loaders. If you need help buying a used washer, check out ApplianceSwap.com
