How much is the dual damper? I need to replace mine. That noise drives me crazy at night. Lol

I know this video is almost 9 years old now, but would this problem (faulty mode shifter) cause the spin cycle to run slowly? I have 4 blinking lights on the motor control board which indicate a faulty mode shifter, and the circuit is open when testing with my multimeter (I'm assuming the thermal fuse blew). The whole drum agitates during agitate mode instead of just the agitator so clearly something is wrong with the mode shifter. But would this also explain the slow spin cycle problems or is that something completely different? The drum spins freely by hand, no clothing is stuck anywhere, the drain pump works fine, the drain line is clean, and the belts are tight. During the spin cycle it starts off fairly quickly (but not the fastest speed), then switches to a medium speed after a few minutes, then switches to a very slow spin speed for the remainder of the spin cycle and the clothes come out soaking wet. This is true with or without clothes/water in the basin.

This model is exactly like mine bypassed mine but lid lock lock is still flashing

Open the dryer from the top till find the control board. Tap on a black box on the panel a few times if not working replace the entire board and done. Another youtuber went the same but an samsung dryer

In my opinion this is a very poorly built appliance, the door switch probably cost less than 50 cents to build and is one of the first items to fail. I also believe that if you ever move the wash dial settings manually the wash sequence is interrupted and may cause a program failure. No matter how many times I reset the washers control board (it successfully went through the test sequence) it was never the same. The washer was outside by my curb after 2 1/2 years.

The mode shift coil is open, change it and you will fix the fault

my LG problem was fixed by replacing the bottom spray arm, if the spray arm is faulty, an excess of water will be directed at the bottom of the dishwasher which will flow into the overflow and subsequently leak onto the floor and / or cause the water leak alarm to be displayed on the dishwasher. Easy 5 minute fix to install the bottom spray arm

Please help me! I have the GE Hydrowave circa 2013 year manufacture. It all started with the tub seal leaking. That burned the control board. I replaced seal and board to find the 4 flash error. OL on Fluke 87. I didn't want to spend the $$$ so I bought 28ga magnet wire, drilled rivets and found the existing coil to be burned in half. I wound the coil and replaced thermal fuse. I am seeing 92 ohms of resistance and if I watch the cycle with the front cover off, at one point of the cycle the sprocket will raise up and the pulley will rotate left to right a little and then the sprocket drops back down. I am not seeing the four flashes and I know the sifter coil is good now but from what I read. The agitator should spin freely and the basket should not turn? I put a magnet on top of the lid switch so I could watch the cycle from the top. It seems to me the agitator and basket are still spinning.

I posted video on replacing mode shifter main bearing. Costs $10 instead of replacing entire $170 part. Little confused on this video if it’s getting higher voltage then yeh it could damage shifter but problem would then be on circuit board not mode shifter. Replacing mode shifter in this case will not solve underlying problem. I know mode shifter has thermal shutoff one time fuse inside of that coil metal housing that protects from dangerous temperature levels. Thanks for video!

LG technician said it's designed that way, you need to replace the sprayer nozzle. I replaced it and worked magically.

Your start button is push in need pull the rubber button to reseal. Rubber causing button to be push in too far in console and the control is stuck in.whirlpool change the start button later models hope that helps!

most of the times its the clutch pulley that is unscrewed and grinding on the plastic guard at the bottom. i am a repairman and its this problem 90$ of the time.

There's a yellow blue white and red wire that leads to the lock sensor if you take a wire and connect the blue and white wires it tells the washer the lock is engaged disconnect and tells it it's not when it's connected it'll run like normal

Too much water in the door gutter. Maybe the float isn't sending a signal that the level is too high.
