They set up Aemond as not being able to control Vhagar in the last season, and they kind of put Aegon II on an upswing, so having Rhanys out-matching Aemond despite being out-gunned by Vahgar and only losing to sudden support by Aegin II would play with that set-up quite nicely.
Now I really want a Targ who takes a four-headed dragon as their personal coat of arms, for another character to speculate about it, then when you finally meet them they just have an entire second-floor of a forehead.

If the show gives Cregan a romance with Jace, I wonder how they might affect his relationship later on with Alysanne Blackwood, considering her prior relationship to Sabitha Frey.
43:30, I wonder if it’s less about their experience as riders and more about the interpersonal dynamics of the dragons; Meleys and Vhagar are probably friends, whereas Sunfyre shouldn’t have much of a connection with Meleys.
My prediction for the Battle Above the God's Eye. It happens just like it does in the books, and everyone goes splash at terminal velocity. At the end, Peter Capaldi pops up out of the water, swims over to the Isle of Faces, steps into a TARDIS disquised as a weirwood and goes off to The Doctor's next adventure.

How is show Aemond NOT a shitty person though? Even if he didn't intend to kill Luke, chasing a kid around on the most powerful known dragon while threatening him is pretty evil to me. If Vhagar hadn't attacked Luke and Arrax and they made it back to Rhaenyra, he would 100% interpret it as an attempted murder. I don't think we've seem him care about people outside of his house/faction.
