seven months is no where near cured for oil based paint, needs to come off or apply compatible paint over top , been following since first handpainted it !
@@Tyresome Oh no!, Ok back in the day, when cool pasteI shades were the trend I painted a vw beetle in vinyl emulsion paint, it actually looked quite good ,with a matte/ semi matte finish it hid a lot of faults, lasted a lot better than imagined it would and that was on a metal bodies car, beauty of it is if you do it over a guide of primer it can be removed ok without contaminating the primer also rollers really nice or could spray it nowadays with electric sprayer. Sorry for long mesage!
@@Tyresome had to strip out the old alarm from 1980's which was a F&%KER. then it was tracing the important stuff to get her started, it fired up good and sounded silky smooth but there was a vibration at 1500rpm+ and kinda struggled to stay running, i adjusted this & that but finger crossed she'll be good soon.
@@Tyresome fuel/setup i reckon m8. when it's "ticking over" If i put my hand over the carb and restrict it a bit it revs up a few hundred rpm and smoothens out. once I can get it stable it can have an italian tune up lol
