The thing is, all of these UK based companies that have popped up selling carbon kit for cars are just using the same suppliers and adding 1000's on top for their cut. You can save so much going direct, but obviously you have to take your chance if something doesn't fit or is broken, as customer service is going to be a challenge, not being in the UK.

Just don't buy shady shit like "REEL STIRING LAMBARGINI WEEL". Although i'm not buying a lot these days and i never had to sent anything back because the fee for sending it back was far greater than the product itself (like the product is 10$ and to sent it back i have to pay 20$ which doesn't work for anyone because no one will return those money to you.). They have (i hope they still have) an option to refund half of the money that you paid for a broken/damaged product without sending).
Here's a tip from the aerospace industry. When you're drilling composite panels use a block behind the panel to drill into mafde of jabloc or similar heavy composite material to prevent breakout from the hole and possible failure of the panel.
Also, with the run number of the car being so limited they’ll have to charge huge amounts to recoup some of the money it would have cost on the parts. I work in the automotive carbon world and would ball park the it costing Mercedes around 10k per bonnet from a reputable brand. Once you add design and tooling cost they’ll they’ll probably be putting a 50% mark up on the part
I know it sounds crazy but you need to disconnect the aluminium inserts and rivets from the carbon fiber by wrapping one layer of tape around them you will struggle heavily with galvanic corrosion within a year because the aluminium reacts with the carbon. Trust me i do this for a living Google it if you don't but make shure not to have aluminium on carbon fiber
Those mirror caps have probably just been put there to fill up the space in the box to stop things moving around. Probably cheaper for them to use old/ unsold parts than find some packing that's the right size.
I’m a Brit in the US. I have a tool called an Astro ADN14 rivnut tool. Check it out Chris, you may find it useful for setting rivnuts (it attaches to your drills)

Honestly, i ordered a lot of parts from aliexpress for my volkswagen which were all original with part numbers and vw stamps and everything was spot on perfect.

Ali dose have some proper stores on there but you'd have to be careful and read all the descriptions etc. And the kits looking pretty good for where you purchased it from because admittedly they are usually mass produced items. I would person try to hire a 3D scanner and take a scan of all of the parts (I know it would be tedious) just in case a piece gets damaged so you could make your own replacement part or have one made from the render scan. Looking forward to seeing this finished though, the wing alone looks spot on
Also Chris, you can ask the sellers to send you original pictures instead of looking at a stock images and wondering what you’re actually going to get, many are happy to do so!

Im not 100% but i think that front piece of the side skirt is separate so that when it gets chipped from tires throwing debris you only have to replace that piece not the whole side skirt

I just recently bought carbon body kit for my amg from Ali and yes it does need some adjustments but i will say it looks the absolute nuts on the car and the quality of the carbon is spot on so all in all definitely worth it for the cost .

You never know what was used.
Temu Carbon carbon fiber skinning ontop of abs plastic is very thin and flakes in the sun definitely clear coat anything from temu

The prices of the kit are so high to keep the black series exclusive.
Black series is a completely different car, based around the GT3 racecar, limited build numbers so parts prices will always be high.

28:00 they are made that way because the molds for the carbon fiber would be 2 complex so they made 2 molds which make it easier to produce.
