these are practically the only tutos on tyflow, and I love the results every time. You publish very regularly so it allows me to improve during this quarantine in France ! :D
Hi you said this was a beginner tutorial but I found some of your other tutorials a lot more comprehensive. You explained very fast so it was hard to catch but I'm so grateful to you for putting these tutorials up. If you explain individual operators "general use", as you were doing the tutorial the video would be longer but it would be super helpful, in my case. Once again thank you greatly and I look forward to getting your courses.
I just rewatched the tutorial and I feel like I always pause after every step to explain what I just did and why. The cadence may be fast, but the explanations are there. The tutorials also build on each other so if you're completely new to tyflow it's important you watch the very early tuts first. Thanks for the comment though I'll keep it in mind.
@@RedefineFX yes you do explain. I will watch some of your earlier ones. I've watched several of them so far. Your tutorials are becoming part of my morning routine 😁.
So cool! I'm always happy about tutorials where you don't need vray and phoenixFD! Not everyone works with it ;) Always a pleasure to see your wonderful tutorials !!! thx you very much !! Greetings Bernd Haier
Hey thanks so much for the tutorial. Really easy to follow along. Question for you. I'm trying to export the strings as an OBJ Sequence for Element 3D. I've use export particles and placed it right about the Display(sprite) in the hierarchy but i am not getting any meshes produced. Do you know how i could generate mesh objects from the strings?
Hi, I looked everywhere and noone knows how to do it. I have a character spitting out ivy. And I need that ivy to wrap around a target object (like growing around) and then the character can get pulled with that ivy so it needs to act like a rope too. Do you have any idea where to begin? I was successful with spline paths acting like vines but it's for stationary mesh. Thank you
Thank you for this tutorial.....but I can't do anything because (Birth Spline) is missing on my list. After (Birth PRT) I have (Birth Shape). Is that the same? Because the parameters are different.
there are a few ways to make ropes with tyflow, this is just one of them. These are not physx ropes but there are other tutorials for that already on youtube

very glad to hear, thank you. I'm stuck at home too, so might as well make some tuts!
@@RedefineFX eager to see futur vids ;)
Thank you Jesse. Very helpful tyFlow tutorial. Like how your tutorials jump right in and focus on the task.
I started following your tutorials about 2 weeks ago and I absolutely love them!
That’s awesome thanks a lot 🙌🏻
Awesome!! Thanks Jesse. Very well explained as always

You’re welcome!
Awesome tutorial.....✌️❤️
Thank you
Nice to-the-point tutorial. Thanks!!
Thanks Jesse, looking foward to try ir, i will try to do it with some modifications like the strings being like guitar, attached at bootom too
Great tutorial! One question. How to fix the upper particles by the angle so that the splines do not rotate?
I don’t understand the question
Thank you
Thank's for the tutorial. how do you export the Strings into TyCache?
This was great! Very helpful! I just finished your product rendering masterclass too! Loved it and learned a lot!
Awesome, thanks 🙏🏻
very useful
thank you for sharing knowledge
thank you..
this is nice! one question... how would you attach a physx rigid body to the end of a string?
You’d need a different technique entirely for that where the entire string would be made of PhysX objects also
@@RedefineFX thanks!! Did you make something like that in your channel? I cant find anything about that

Hi Jesse, how do I make a shoulder bag when I pick it up by the rope the whole bag moves
You need PhysX binds instead of particle binds. I cover this in my tyFlow Deepdive course
Can you do one with a cloth floating mid air?
There’s already a tutorial for that
how would you make the ropes tighter? like if I wanted to make more of a rubber band that contracts rather than the stretchy rope you have here?
Love your tutorials!
Thanks!! 😊
Is there a way to get this to become a beaded curtain. seems to have perfect stucture for it?
It’s already made up of particles. Just add a shape operator and make them spheres
hi, can you tell me how to animate a toothbrush? i create with wobble effect but the bristle dont act like brush, it's so stiff. thank you
