I'm very disappointed.

@@VelianSpeaksTech Its a static measurement, can be pretty accurate. I myself as Rob in the channel have Polar H10, O2 rings, many watches ect to measure and compare. For example HRV numbers in Garmin watches compete unexpectedly good with H10 witch is basically the golden standard. Nothing is perfect, but the only useful measurement one should use with smartwatches are - steps, resting/average HR, HVR, total time asleep. No need for anything else to assess your general health trends.

Did you update your watch? they pushed an update but is not like a magic, just saved a little bit for me :/
My settings: lte on, aod off, hr at 10 minutes, everything else on ... I'm at 78% after 20 hours. Seems pretty good to me, and better than my GW6 classic.
This is outstanding!
Can confirm this! I get 3 days with these settings
how! Are you clinically obese? i take around 20K steps a day and i can barely get a day
Does it has watch only mode?
If yes, than plz make a video of how to enable and disable it.
Thanks
Have you tried to clear cache after the calibration?
Yes, several times.
They should extrude the watch in the same rectangle shape of the case till the top of the bezel ring and remove the circular shape of the screen to rectangle like the base. That way they can accommodate a 800 mah battery with same thicknes. Thats easily 36.9 percentage increase in battery. And also increase the charging speed to 20 watts and it will have enough room to dissipate heat..
Watch 6 cl 47 does the same and lasts 3 days not 1
My garmin enduro can do 50 days in one charge. Idk how you clowns use these and charge everyday. I'll wait till watch ultra 3 for at least 1 week battery life lol
hmpph on my Gw6C i dont really care about the batt life anymore, everything is fully turned on so i can enjoy using it to the max. however, my habit is that everytime i see the batt goes down or if im free and not doing anything, i charge it up. luckily it is fast so not much downtime. i guess that habit will be the same when my GWU arrives.
How long does it take to charge the battery as it is supposed to have 15W
I read it`s only 10W as the Watch5 Pro...
over 2 hrs in my testing
The only positive for is the native HRV and average sleeping HR we finally get on a commercial smartwatch.... Is HRV also available in Watch 5 Pro?
Yes but... how accurate is it?

@@VelianSpeaksTech Its a static measurement, can be pretty accurate. I myself as Rob in the channel have Polar H10, O2 rings, many watches ect to measure and compare. For example HRV numbers in Garmin watches compete unexpectedly good with H10 witch is basically the golden standard. Nothing is perfect, but the only useful measurement one should use with smartwatches are - steps, resting/average HR, HVR, total time asleep. No need for anything else to assess your general health trends.
Tnx for sharing, this was useful!
battery life is terrible and does not compare to Garmin.
The battery 🔋 is super good depends on the settings on the watch ⌚️. So don't take somebody's word it's a great watch
As per Samsung's specifications, the standard settings should have a lifespan of approximately 3 days.
Yes, it looks like Samsung needs to put out an update for their Watch technology because even if the the Ultra had over 600mah battery, you still probably have only a day or two battery life, it's the software. How much battery life is Apple Watch Ultra?
Well I didn't use it, battery is just a bit less, from videos I see that it's a bit better atm
@VelianSpeaksTech WAIT, Most tech reviewers are iPhone users, and you don't know how long the Apple Watch Ultra battery lasts after a year or more in market.
I have watch 6 classic battery works 2 day and 5 hours. Also not enough this with stop sensor but if I make any workout eat battery about 20%
Mate, get your blood pressure looked into? That's stage 2 hypotension if that was a calibrated, rested test. Look after yourself! ❤
I will start using my ultra as soon as i get it and before i send them my watch 5 pro, i will see what battery life is. If it is not close to watch 5 pro it'll be going back.
the culprit is exynos. If Samsung put in Snapdragon chipset, power efficiency will be much better.
Need the ring to save 30% battery
Everything under a week of battery life is not usable for me
my GT4 pro gets 14-18 days on the power saving mode so 100 hours is shi** I ordered the samsung to sleep with it mainly so i might wear my GT4 all day and end my day with my samsung
On the 36th from full chargw and at 50% charge. With AOD on
Please compare Garmin Epix 2 pro 51mm sapphire edition with Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra
I personally disabled all the health features as I am not interested in that. Neutered Bixby. Removed unwanted Samsung bloat and Microsoft bloat. Permanently disabled LTE. Went through the permissions with a fine tooth and disabled what I will never use. Keep the always display off and put it in battery saving mode and it should last me 5 days just like to watch5 pro did. Not a bad smartwatch for $229.99.
Garmin does not have Wear os.
@@Imhotep73 За кво ти е. Само хАби ток
Е нека тества, иначе как ще знаем ние да не си го купуваме. :D
It's very worrying . Some youtubers are having really short battery life. I think I'm gonna skip this
I have the Huawei Ultimate with always on display and all sensors always on I get 6 days of battery life
That's outstanding
Is it just me or do you really sound suffocated or short of breath?
my watch runs 3 days easily. No power saving, just turn of wifi and gps when it is not needed...
I don't use GPS when not doing any activity, the location setting right?
Can anyone educate me on the square design on the 7 Ultra? It looks bloody awful as well as a mistake.
The 6 Classic is a thing of beauty.
Well, the cushion is to protect the watch itself, which makes sense. It looks like the Gear S Sport from a while ago, but it also does look a bit like Hermes 05 and AWU re the band.
Do a hard reset of the watch and set it as a new watch. Wallet can't take that much percentage. The health monitor can't have that many percentages either. I've had my Ultra for a week now and no app has more than 0.x% Only ONE UI have 2,2 %
Believe it or not, but I did.... which is not pleasant as I had to go again to my freaking bank to setup my card, as they don`t allow this done w/o visiting a branch, its a pain in the...
And did you see Spotify? I only used for like 2 songs...
@@VelianSpeaksTech I have seen it. Really weird app usage on your watch. Now I tried playing a song from Spotify directly from the watch speaker and it showed 4.8% usage Spotify will be heavy on the battery.
How could you have had it for a week when they announced the watch on the 10th ?
@@Tberry23 ok, i have this watch 6 days, exactly. They arrived on 15.7.
@@lukyburiku got it in 5 days ? How is that possible ?
For me, a 50% reduction in 24 hours with the Ultra without doing anything special with the watch.
What a disappointment.
Let`s hope it`d get better, the official watch face is very animated and heavy, night mode, this, that... moving dials.
It takes time for the battery to learn usage habits i see Samsung are still using the same crappy spo2 sensor
Thank you for this battery information. I was about to buy this watch. Now I won't.
Perhaps your watch could be faulty; that's a lot of percentage on little things.
Don't think so. Another user here in the comments reported the same results...
My watch won't be shipped until the 5th of August. The reason I haven't canceled is because I was hoping for more reviews on the battery, but it looks bad. If you could cancel, would you have?
It takes at least a week for the battery to settle down.
It's been 5 days already, and I hope it's getting better, but it stopped adapting and this is it.
I started cutting on some things like SPO2 during night and skin temp.
I will keep my classic 6 47mm no point to upgrade
Watch5 Pro is also a top choice, this is why I didn't change to 6 series.
Apple Watch Ultra for the win 🤣
So much compromise to preserve battery life
I have the Huawei GT3 pro , 2 weeks battery life 🎉🎉🎉
That is a freakimg legend, I got the GT 2 Pro, same, but not a lot of smart functions, no apps and etc.
Hauwei is the King sorry
For real got my Ultra on the 18.07 and was also hoping for that smart battery management system to kick in..😂
The watch fits my needs pretty well and i traded iny watch 5 pro in an instant but exactly as u stated..battery is runnig on empty very fast!
My Watch 5 pro was WiFi version and heavily tweaked to beeing basically a glorified step counter with Bluetooth off, no auto brightness etc = 4 days + battery life
I am not willing to do that on the ultra, want LTE, constant heart rate, auto workout detection, auto brightness and all that good stuff i paid for running but no AOD (except for special occasions where i want to show of goofy watchfaces)...so far that means battery is running out of juice faster than last time
What kind of battery life do you get? I am torn between the ultra and Garmin Forerunner 965.
@@MaxDrougge Hey man, guess the LTE function is important to you. The Samsung offers greater independence function wise but if you are looking for a piece of sports equipment go for the Garmin (or better wait, the new generation of epix/ Fenix seems to be right around the corner, possible LTE support is a rumour).
Battery life is about 24h for me. Meaning start with 100% in the morning and having to recharge it the next morning after a night with sleep tracking
@@kitzblitz4859 Hi. Alright. Aren't those Garmin quite a bit more expensive? The forerunner 965 look real nice.
I gotta say, i am really surprised that the Galaxy watch ultra has such poor battery performance. I would really love to have that watch but that kind of battery time is just too little.
