Sony makes the best digital cameras. My a57 is more than 10 years old and is still operating just as new.
They feel like shit in the hand tho. The mirrorless cameras do atleast
keep sensor facing down so that dust can fall down ( and not inside the machine)
God i love this camera. It was my first camera and for it’s price damn it’s so good both in videos and stills. Underrated camera in my opinion
Hugely under rated! This thing is a little beast. I get asked about it all the time. Run it with a Tamron 17-28 and a 28-75 g2. Love it.

How do you go about changing the aperture with those lens on the A7C? Asking because I just bought the A7C to trail moving from Fujifilm to Sony, but I'm so used to using a dedicated aperture ring & ISO dial

@@xperience-evolution go for it! Never too late to start. I've been on UA-cam since 2006 as a fish channel, but started this second channel in 2011. I took it seriously in late 2019 when I revamped it into a Sony tech channel. My name was actually Xperience since I focus mainly on Sony phones as you can tell on my channel.
@@SonyEnthusiast Saw it. Quite a journey. I made a few Videos on other channels but not actively at the moment. Did not find the right Topic yet as there are many things I would be interested in but for some I lack resources.
@@xperience-evolution I understand. I like Sony ever since I was young (grew up with Walkman and Trinitron TVs), but I couldn't afford most of their products myself when I was younger. So I've been catching up lately. Maybe you can start off with the more affordable Sony products for your channel like the XB13 speaker, etc.

With only kit lens can the low light result win against flagship phones?
If you want the absolute best quality then yes this and any other modern camera would beat any flagship phone. But then it also depends upon what, when and where you are shooting. Phone cameras are more versatile with all the options it gives you. But the real camera would always give you better quality. Just look at the difference in sensor sizes. If you are not very passionate about photography and only just want to click good pictures for the gram and memories then I would suggest you to just get the modern flagship phone. I would recommend you to try the Vivo x100 pro for the moment since it's clearly the best smartphone camera in the market for strictly primary photos

Isn't it a bit over the top to use a GM-lens on a 7c? The 7c-resultion doesn't make use of the max possible resolution of the GM-lenses. so what's the point? Heavier lenses, but no real advantage?
….. the lens can last for generations of camera bodies so 🤷🏻♂️ upgrade and go
Good lenses are investment for lifetimes, camera bodies are replaceable. You date a body, but marry a lens
