amazing tutorials, but would be more appreciated if the keypress view was enabled, so we can see what commands you are doing. Sometimes you would use some feature from blender which if could see what shortcut was used so we can learn more and fallow better as to adapt for a better workflow too.
I'm only starting out on this whole geometry node thing so these tutorials are gold to me. Thanks heaps for taking the time to do them, really appreciate it. Cheers 👍🏼🦘
You're incredible! Since my brain is way too artistic to get the geonodes usage by only just reading the documentation, presentation like your really makes me to understand what's going on there! I hope, that some day we'll get a video about the math node and the operations in depth...
Thank you for that kind words! I have to admit that I also not fully understud everything but the wiki helped a little bit. But the wiki is just bad, that is for shure. Thank you!
Also at 33:11 if I used a voranoi texture into a Boolean to shade smooth what happens if the voronoi texture puts both black and white onto a side, will it shades smooth or not smooth, like does it take value 0 or 1? Is there a way to partially shade smooth without the need for a high sub divide? Like I want only the dark parts of a voronoi texture to shade smooth or would I just use the shading bdsr and plug the voronoi into the roughness factor instead?
Hey, sehr interessantes Video.
Firstly: well done and extremely informative. You did a fantastic job covering all of the nodes and explaining everything. Now, some constructive criticism: I would strongly suggest working on the audio in your presentations. I'm guessing you're using a microphone that's mounted on a desk stand, as I could hear frequent low-frequency thuds throughout the video that probably originated from your movements vibrating back through the stand. I only bring this up because it was extremely distracting from the content of the video itself. I'd strongly recommend looking into a boom arm and shock mount for your mic to mitigate this kind of issue. All that said, thank you for taking the time to create these videos, they're invaluable to Blender novices.
Thank you for pointing that out. I will try to limit that noise. You guessed right with the type of mic. Maybe I use cloth where it can stand on or something like that. I think that shold reduce it a little🤔 Thank you!
Is there any difference in geo nodes in blender 3.5 to 3.4? I know they've added simulation nodes, but are there any changes to that "basic" mesh editing part?
extrude mesh correction: Unlike normal extrude, this extrude will never retain the original face. Normally extruding a plane yields a box, but this extrude will give you a 5-face non-manifold
Oh yes. That is when you press "F3" and that is for bringing up the overall help menu where you can search anything. In 3D Viewport. I have searched for split. Because it is faster there than when I search it in some menus.
It is crazy how fast blender changes. Recently started looking into blender and all the menus look different now. It is mind boggeling.
Yes that is true. I'm personally not realy a fan of the new menus but I get the point.
@@HEY.Pictures Me too. To me as a beginner seeing all the options you have in the same drop down menu had its benefits.
Great work covering all the nodes! Not many people make this kind of comprehensive node by node tutorial so thanks!

Thanks bro.... No one clearly explained geometry nodes in this way....
You earned a subscriber bro.....
Thank u so much...
Thanks for this video, we were waiting for your video man. Please continue this series i will promote your channel.❤️
Thank you! I will

thank you sir .. what a great video
Thank you! That's great to hear!
Hello! Direct, clear & more useful. Thank you sou much for sharing. Greetings.
really good video! Btw the singular form for 'vertices' is vertex.

You are amazing. You helped me complete my project. THANK YOU.
Thanks.. Singular of "vertices" is "vertex" btw
Yes I also know since I cutted the video xD Thank you
Awesome, thanks!
Excellent job..
very helpful..thanku
We want more geo videos! 💯
A great and thorough tutorial. Thank you! Dg
Great series! Keep up the good work.
really clear pronounciation

Wow super
Hey at 31:00 if the meshes intersect are they still considered islands? Or does it require the meshes to be joined
Yeeeeeesssssss!!!!!
Yees xD

No changes but sadly the whole add menu got a massive overhaul after this tutorial and now looks way different😥
@@HEY.Pictures oh no :((
Then, I hope you'll make next tutorial hah. Loved this one, thanks for help
Nice bro
Arf, i'll have to wait to test all this...i dont have 3.5 and launcher dont want to work on my computer!
You can download the alpha version from the blender website.

what is actuly cost value of edges means
We want more geo videos please
I waiting for part 3
20:28 👏🏽
Thanks :))
Kannst du auch Tutorials auf Deutsch machen 😅
why are people still 'doing' verticy, when right in the node name it says VERTEX. Also, at 08:27, they're not the same.
22:14 how did this list appear?
