Johnathan: I love your vids and you’re a wonderful person and player, but it seems on all these Martin acoustic reviews you use effects like reverb and whatnot (or maybe I’m hearing it from other tracks/or it’s the instrument themselves because you have such good mics?) but it makes me skip some of your vids when researching cuz I i dont know when you use them and want the stripped down version to actually get a 100% organic feel. I’ve wanted to say this for a while, maybe I’m wrong, but you have incredible reviews and would be my go-to if I knew there wasn’t effects used or you were told when they are used. Thanks for reading and doing what you do; you’re a gifted guy!!!!
No worries.. I know what you mean. I’ve always try to represent the guitars in the way that I would use them. Either stage or studio so that I can show you all and myself if it does work in those contexts.✌️❤️
Jon I would send you a real D-28 but you probably wouldn’t like it, it may be the best sounding one ever produced , I may do a video with it , but first I have do dress work on the nut
That is what an acoustic guitar should sound like. It’s icing on the cake that it is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your interpretation of how it should be played. You can pay lots more for a guitar but you won’t get better tone, just more bling or a boutique name. 😎👍🏻
What a beautiful sounding guitar and even better playing.
Thank you!
That's such a lovely sound, beautiful playing
Many thanks!
That's a beauty! Amberburst has that ethereal look.

I agree. my om28 is 1 year old and starting to mellow out, can't be wait to hear it next Summer!
Hey Jon, thanks for this video, I have been thinking of upgrading my acoustic...my Alvarez is getting old(33)
Go for it!

ok...i'll wait...lol
Does it feel lighter than a standard D28? Do you still prefer the D18 satin?
I think they feel the same.. weight wise. But I do prefer the satin ❤️
Hey Jonathan haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?
I’m good brother… yourself?
@@JonIsJustTooLoud Outstanding sir, thank you.
