Be careful with those cases, they do more damage than good some times. They cause hinges on the monitors to get loose and collect dust and other things that eventually scratch the laptop... I would suggest a sleeve instead!

They damaged my screen on my air 2013 and caused a loose connection meaning my number keys stopped working screen annoying as everything else worked That’s why I’m here I ordered the 2020 pro haha
It took about 5 years for any damage to show so you may be fine
You are not lying!😭 I just took my case off yesterday and the bottom of my MacBook is VERY scratched.

These cases are amazing. I am seeing a lot of the comments about how the case is not the best. I have been using this case since this version of the MacBook Pro came out last year. Mine is perfectly fine for some reason. Just make sure to take the case off once in a while and clean it, just in case. Also they give you instructions which is even better and more helpful. But other than that, there shouldn't be any scratches. If there are scratches then you must have dropped it at least once in a while. Just make sure to take care of it as much as you can, and these cases are really good, ofc if you take care of it in the best way possible. Just wanted to say this because these cases are the best. So other than that, wasn't this a great and informative vid? Loved this! 🥰.

I purchased a MacBook pro 2020 silver, best purchase ever and you won't regret it. I basically use it for college classes with zoom. I'm very happy I didn't purchase the MacBook air.

I love my MacBook Pro!! I got a new one in 2018! 💛 I also have the space grey, it is so pretty! I don’t have the Touch Bar though. I really like the “old fashioned” full keyboard 😂

I actually have a MacBook that is over 8 years old I think- I'm really excited because I might get a new MacBook Pro, I just can't believe the MacBook lasted that long. Only just recently has it started to get all old and laggy and I forgot the password, tried fixing it but it just doesn't work wonders anymore as it used too.

i think so! i debated doing more storage but my old laptop was only 128 so i figured this one was already double the storage than i was used to! plus i store a lot of my teaching stuff on google drive (highly recommend)!!! if i end up having trouble with it tho i’ll definitely be getting more storage whenever i need a new laptop years down the road!!

Great investment! I got mine right when the pandemic started. I foresaw that it could last a while and I would not have access to my lab desktop. So I updated my 2015 MBP to the 16inch one as I'll be doing most of my work on that for a long time and I don't want to feel stressed when the laptop gets overheated. I got to say that it's much better than my old MBP. Still get's hot sometimes but much better than before.

Ruochi Zhang yea the 16inch gets really hot. I returned it.
@@briang1310 Um.. My old one is the first touchbar version. I have to say that all the models with touchbar gets hot. Especially the regions near and above the touchbar. Because of that, I could never wear shorts and put it on my lap, not even in a room with air conditioner. This version is a lot better than my old one. BTW, the upgraded 16-inch (with better i9 CPU) gets even hotter and thus diminish its performance. I chose the standard i9 CPU and it's slightly better.
Ruochi Zhang I’m waiting for the new Silicone one! I hope the thermals gets better! Right now I’m rocking an ASUS. And it works pretty good had it for about 4-5 years. Hope down the line they make them with better thermals!
@@briang1310The Apple Silicone itself definitely would have better thermals. The iPad Pro contains A12X which has performance comparable to 8-th Gen i7 even without any fans. My concern would still be the touchbar. Not sure what is operating there, but it gets hot. It gets so hot that tuning volume with it occasionally can be painful. I have multiple Macs and use iCloud to sync all the projects so I'm pretty much tied to this Apple eco-system. I wanted to try the XPS or the Razer one someday though.

@@madisonhart3037 really good! It's a very big difference to a windows pc but there's plenty of tutorials online. It's also very aesthetically pleasing in the layout, if you know what I mean. Plus the keyboard is awesome.
