John is right. We do not hate America for who they are. We frown upon (not necessarily hate) the American arrogant policies. As a Chinese, I can never understand the American One-China Policy as they enthusiastically embrace the separatists in different parts of China. Is not integrity and honesty the moral value of American politicians?
Why we think we can change the whole world without thinking of the cultural aspects of each Country? Each Country is different from the other, although it would be preferably working with each other in a respectful manner while we are changing the world together instead of acting as a total authoritarian forces that dictate everybody what to do which on the other hand we won't like others to do to us?
Excellent analysis . But I wouldn't underestimate our species capacity to hate , inability to stop hating and revenge seeking even when not conscious of it . Hence it often manifests itself as lingering depression. Then there are rabble rousers and hate mongers that profit from manipulating a tribe's sentiments and strong emotions by maintaining old hatreds . See also warlords .
As they say in parts of the "Global South". never venture discussing foreign policy with Americans. They do not understand the first thing about it; not even their own country foreign policy.

Your comments have truth , but it needs to be remembered we are one species and our common ability to form tribes and develope strong tribal biases .

Nations who are protected by Atlantic on the east and Pacific on the west. Should meddle in other countries.
