  • Someone started to restore this chrysler, mopar produced pink 1956 Imperial many years ago, but gave it up and later it seems it ended up as a parts car and then was stored and forgotten.This car got a Chrysler Hemi FirePower V8 Engine and a automatic transmission. Installing some temporary hoses, wires, and puzzling together some pieces. Will run and drive?

      Cool, when i drove it i got thinking about Stephen King`s Christine, and that car did definitely not like the scrapyard! Thanks for watching!

    Good luck getting it going. By the way, the fuel filter is installed backwards. Don't know if that will impede flow.

      @DaysofCars  Місяць тому

      Thanks, I think fuel filter like this will have the same flow in either direction, but lets say you have it installed backwards, arrow from the carburetor, against the flow from the pump, particles like rust from a old gas tank will then collect in the center of the filter without you be able to see it, and that will impede flow when you don`t know when to replace it. On this car it was allready there and it had not been smart to reinstall it correct even i guess it has only been used with that plastic gas can before which was clean on the inside. I also found it needless to replace it because it is only a temporary solution anyway. A car like this deserves real copper or stainless fuel lines with a glass bowl filter. Anyway good observation and thanks for caring and watching

    I have a 53 Pontiac Chieftain - what do you do about a cracked block? It's got a flat head 8 in iit. Do you, weld it or do you put bolts in it? I've heard both, but never trusted anybody enough to do it.
