I read the car seat instructions, looked at various youtube videos, and never found out how to minimize wiggling without the anchor hooks. My car doesn't have anchoring spots, so I never knew how to prevent tipovers. This video explained quite simply how to solve my problem. Thank you!
Very helpful, consulting car manual and car seat booklet never mentioned anything about locking the seat belt and I couldn't work out what I was doing wrong. Simply and clearly explained how to resolve problem of wiggling car seat. Thank you!
A thousand likes to your video, neither my car manual nor the cat seat manufacturer explained how to lock the car seat belt like this video, how slowly we return the belt and that sound. Truly helpful!
Accidentally engaged this while putting my child's seat. Knew it was nice and secure then. Had to take it out to clean and couldn't figure out how to do it, very helpful video and straight to the point. Thank you.
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
It is great to find this video to show how to engage the locking mechanism, however I cannot find anything to tell you how to reverse this once it is done. Once a carseat is no longer being used can you do the same process to UNLOCK the mechanism?
You just need to let the seat belt retract all the way to its initial position (in my car I have to unlock the seat belt from the seat belt locker) and then the seat belt is functioning like usual. I hope you understand what I mean.
Did this and got my carseat stuck. The male end of the buckle is caught under the rigid latch arm (nuna pipa) and there is not enough slack to free it. How can i release the seatbelt from this locked state?
That is the worst feature in jeep chrysler dodge cars, if a 6ft adult travels in the back and want to talk to front passangers and lean forward, it gets trapped and need to undo the belt and put it on again trying not to enable that again, and after 1h jurney when you do that 25 times you just stop wearing belt at all its so bad
How do you unlock that belt?

Guess what? My Citroen doesn't have that feature. It is 97' production year...
Cannot engage the seatbelt ratchet. Have tried so many times and it just won’t engage. It’s worked in the past and now it just won’t.
Please help.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this
Did not work on my truck
How do you reverse this process??
Dino Vicencio Unbuckle the seatbelt and let it go all the way back into the seatbelt distributor.
@@aeonianbeam8599 doesn't work
Ok now how to unlock it. The car booster is stuck sideways and I’m unable to pull out the belt
If you can unbuckle it, and let it retract all the way back that will reset it.
It isn’t buckled. Just stuck in the car seat but it’s not retracting for it to give some slack to remove
Wait what???? Now im even more confused than when i clicked on this video OMFG these people FML
Doesnt work for many modern vehicles..
You cannot use the seat belt of the car and seats anchors at the same time!!! Choose one or the other!!!
