Thousands of Smoky Quartz Crystals! Digging for Crystal Clusters of Micro Smoky Phantom Quartz!

- In this one, we head out to hunt for smoky quartz crystals! These amazing specimens are truly remarkable. Growing on top of a feldspar rich porphyry are interwoven crystal meshes containing thousands of perfectly defined smoky quartz crystals! As if that wasn't cool enough though, they are also phantom crystals containing internal crystal structure and many are even double terminated! They may not be huge, but what they lack in size they MORE than make up for in outstanding quality and quantity! After collecting a handful of good specimens, we head back to the shop where we treat them by letting them soak overnight in iron-out. The transformation is always outstanding to see! I hope you all enjoy this one, and look forward to more crystal and fossil hunts coming soon; runoff has arrived meaning the river is no longer huntable, and we've now entered the season of digging!

I absolutely love those delicate smoky quartz clusters. AWESOME.
Those tiny phantoms look so awesome Theo .they were my favourites great video Theo.💎👍👍
Insane! You got a lot more than the last time you were there. Good job Alexis 👍
Sweet littles, and that scenery! Sometimes nature is such a show-off!
Wow, cute little crystals....😊
Oh wow! Those are beautiful! 😊
Well that was fun. You found more smokey quartz than one person should be allowed. Wowza! Alexis did good again. Keep having fun! 😷⚒
Those are all so beautiful. I love crystals too.
Would love to see when you facet one of those crystals! Awesome finds, so cool! Thanks for sharing!
* Those are amazing pockets of crystals.. The size varies so much. Thanks for showing how to clean them up..
Omg.those are really beautiful😍
Wow!! I love them all!
Agreed. Thats an EXCELLENT “Crystal Ball”❣️ Thx for Sharing ❣️Keep on Rockin❣️
Those crystals are crazy cool! I love the clusters! Great job getting the sparkle just right!
Wow! Those smoky clusters are so beautiful! I can see why you get lost in them! That is just a jumble of goodness! My favorite is probably the clusters, any of them! They are just amazing. Even the small ones! I like run off because its time to find all the other things that montana has to offer! Thanks Theo!
I would love to see your process for dressing the blade on the rock saw. I didn't know that was a thing for diamond blades.
Thank you for taking us along. Your passion for rocks is an inspiration. I especially enjoy seeing your interactions with your wife and dogs. You are a nice person. Like your silliness on camera too.
I clearly need to visit Montana! Smoky quartz and Montana agate are some of my faves.
Cool finds!
Enjoyed your latest video. What you were illustrating with the tiny smoky crystals (including the phantoms), is why years ago I started leaning into the 'Micro-Mounts' and they were better suited budget wise too. Always enjoy your segments.
I have never seen such small beautiful smokey quartz crystals in a ball like that! How awesome!
What beautiful finds, love the sparkle! That big crystal Alexis found was awesome! I love Floyd, he reminds me of a dog that we had years ago. So glad you have the new blade all set to go! Thanks Theo, that was fun!👍
Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: I love micro and nano collections of crystals, rocks, and minerals as much as mega size specimens. Give me a jeweler's loop or a microscope and I'm lost for days.
So interesting to see how tightly packed the crystals are and yet they’re still a totally different type than I find. Quartz is such a varied material and I love it!
Amazing!
I love the Crystal's
I was up there last weekend and got some good ones just on the ground. Snow melt off is the best time of year for them.
The tiny crystals are very cute. Hard to spot them in the wild.
Theo, have you heard of Hedron Rockworks? I watched him work a Lake Superior rock. Amazing what he did and the machine he has. Such beautiful finds. Love how they sparkle. What do you do with the small tiny crystals? Can’t wait to see what you do with them. ❤
SMOKEY QUARTZ ADDICTION....🤣🙃🤣😄⭐🌟🌠
Goin back SOON.......GET BIGGER🤪😝👍❤🧡💛💚💚🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
Great video, wondering when you intended or if you intended on opening your Etsy store back up?
We are in Colorado, Red Feather Lakes area, and we have discovered more quartz crystals. Some are clear, smokey & i think purple. Are you in Colorado also?
What state is this?!
