Wow. This run is crazy. You're in big town before Super Duper Mart. I always went there right after megaton. This is why I love fallout 3. You can just go anywhere and play it how you want.
Wow, Truly a gem of fallout video content! Such ineffable knowledge to a newborn fallout 3 player but you made it so concise and understandable. What a legendary video indeed. Thanks!
I started the game around two weeks ago and I remember watching your guide before starting the game. I can't believe you made a new one lol, it's very helpful cause I'm kind of stuck at a hard section in the game atm.
Im so happy you still make videos about this game today…I thought nobody plays this game in 2022 because its for low end devices and I only have 4gb ram
Bro, I redownloaded this game and then thought hmm wonder if anyone's got an intro guide, and then I noticed you had two up and I just wanted to say, congratulations for not giving up.
Still watching it right now i’m 11 minutes in and you’ve given me some of the best tips I’ve ever gotten in this game so far this is my first time playing and I hope I’m doing it right I just beat Vegas. That was my first fallout game. I’m gonna continue following your guide. It’s helping a lot so far and I’m only 15 minutes
I beat the game at a level 103 brotherhood of steel ending not bad thanks to your tips. I actually got good items but I got some good work in myself. Thank you.
Awesome.guide. I've started a playthrough a couple hours ago and I've went directly to Rivet City to the intelligence bobblehead after Megaton. Now I'm outside of the city and your guide is helping me really well.
I just downloaded this for the first time a month ago after playing fallout 4 600+ hrs . Awesome video , pumped for another fallout game to get lost in ! Cheers
Bravo. I always thought mothership zeta was the best start because I didn't know about the Gary 23 glitch. That blew my mind. Also you missed a skill book in the shop where you get the lucky shades, it's behind the register counter. Loved the guide, followed you exactly step by step up to level 10 and it was the best start I've ever had. Now to lower my karma and enter the slave trade.
For the House upgrades glitch you don’t need to spend A SINGLE CAP doing it, heres what to: 1. Go inside crater side supply 2. Once you inside, turn left into the open doorway 3. Turn to your left which then you will be facing a wall next to a pipe 4. Crouch and spin you camera outside the wall and then you will see that you can open a locker. (It will count as stealing so make sure no one sees you) also make sure you camera moves and not your character at the same time, to do this simply hold the 3rd person button and then hold it while spinning your camera inside the wall 5. Open the locker and in which you will find every house upgrade for you Megaton Player Home!
I did not know the lucky 8 ball was a thing. Props to the Content. I have watched every version of this video, bringing me nostalgia from my childhood. I appreciate it!!
If you get the romance theme for your house, you get a bed right inside your front door for an easy well rested xp bonus without having to go upstairs.
still love this game.. you make me want to play it again.. successful video (for me at least). Mad props if you figured this out yourself by playing a massive amount of hours and no guides!
Hey homie, started a play through of FNV recently and stumbled across your videos, watched them all and I’m stoked to see you pump out some new content. I used to be a wizard at FNV & FO3 / Skyrim and I’m stoked to see someone who is as passionate as I am. Can’t wait to get to do the DLC’s and use your vids as guidance. Keep up the work champion you’ll be bigger than mitten squad in no time.
You dont need to buy the house items from Moira. There is a hidden locker that you can access in 3rd person mode, behind a wall, in front of the staircase in Crater side supply. After 5 or so minutes of fiddling the camera, you can open the locker when the icon appears.
I've been playing fallout 3 sense the game first came out and find it to be the best multiple storyline game ever made. First I've been a good boy now I've gotten to the point where I'm wiping out the entire wasteland megaton gone, tenpenny gone, plus all the ghouls so now the tower is mine to myself. All of underground, paradise falls, gone. Whoosh so much evil. I've killed off all the mirulurkers, and super mutants. All of brotherhood is gone. The Pitt everyone gone, river boat done everyone gone on that island, mother ship zeta everyone gone. Went deathclaw hunting yesterday and killed them all. I've found all the secret weapon and stash spots, found and done all the extra hidden quests. DC is pretty much clear of any danger because I went on a city wide hunt.
Just the tiniest little bit of advice for the vault 101 part, make sure to lock pick the overseers door and computer, without picking up the key and password first, for just a tiny bit more starting xp. It's negligible, but it's technically more optimal I guess? :D
This video not only helped me understand the game thoroughly and honestly made me not give up on this awesome series because of confusion. But it was funny and perfectly linear so I can follow along at my own pace and still create my own version of the world. And I love shooting random garbage at enemies lol. Excellent work! When I make an achievement plan on my channel eventually, I will definitely suggest this video as a secondary resource.
Martin is a tough read. He’s so deadpan that, at times, I’m not quite positive he’s actually being sarcastic when I think it was his intention. Great job, btw. Beginning to view your stuff as comedic gold.
Just started streaming fallout 3 after playing and grinding fallout 4 this video is helping me sooo much! I honestly thought I would hate it because of the graphics and difference between the two but man the speech checks and dialogue options will keep me here alone. I can finally converse with these character and gain more lore on the wasteland
Another thing I would add is in moiras shop by the stairs there are some holes in the wall were light shines through there’s a locker in the wall if you move your camera around standing by those holes you can get all the upgrades for your house for free
in most of my gameplays i finish everything i can possibly do in megaton then i blow it up. The love theme in tenpenny tower just looks beautiful. another good player house is in the middle of Arlington cemetery.
I love the video but I can definetly see improvements such as doing the perfect character guide to have special all 10 and all skill points to 100 and with the guide of all these skillbooks it adds big stuff to getting to 100 all stats even easier. Also for all the upgrades to your megaton house there is a corner in moira's shack where you can open a container like the chest in that one place in skyrim with the snow with the cat merchants i forgor. And essentially it has all the upgrades.
Your video is wonderful. My only comment is that in several locations you take us to, I found several skills books not captured in your video. But if people take your video as a general guide and just explore, they should find them like I did.
This was a fantastic guide my guy! Some of these glitches and tricks I already knew but, some were completely new to me, which I thank you very much for sharing. Have you done a similar guide of FNV? If so, can you link me to it, please! Thank you very much! And keep up the amazing job.
There a random encounter you can have with someone in fallout 3. When you finish the wastland survival guide you can encounter a girl that say “I almost died because of this stupid book and than give you the book after some speech dialogue. I’m not sure how rare the encounter is but I’m sure it won’t happen untill you finish the book.
I fix the radio as soon as i can so i can jam all over the wasteland😂. Been changing it up this playthrough so thats what brought me here, thank you for the video!
Watching this makes me realize just how much useful Items i missed both on the Way out of the Vault & within Megaton. I also made a lot of Mistakes in Perk Choices as well. Par for the Course on a First Play through i suppose.
Great content! Love the Skyrim skill series you put out. Recently on a nostalgic Bethesda binge. Playing Fallout 4 now and I would love to see an hour long best start from that game. I saw the one you posted years ago but maybe you thought about revising it again? 🤔
a while ago, you made me play skyrim and gave me a decent guidance for it. I guess now the same thing is gonna happen but with fallout this time. I have so much to thank you for man. hope nice things happen to you. love you so much
2:36 Yeah quite scenic, isn't it? 😄 I love your "tips". And your SPECIAL selection is really gut since most good perks requires score at least 6 certain criteria so It's real convenient to start with most scores no less than 5.
You forgot to mention, you can always lower rhe difficulty in the middle of VATS to do more damage and before you kill them, change it to Very Hard to get more XP.
this really helps i recently beat fallout 3 and this will really help out a lot cause i'm currently only lvl 14 and i have broken steel dlc so this really helps
You motivated me to clean up the Xbox 360 and play it and made a build based on this video. Obviously I spawned to level 30 at the water plan and curently doing the Anchorage dlc. Great video my man you could consider making videos about Fallout 76 current status and future plans.
Just before you exit the vault where three 2 guards come out you can get more loot - including 3 purified waters so you can give one to the guy begging outside Megaton. And also to give to that Ben guy that Sam Warwick seems to be after.
I ended up reloading my save like 8 times and made my character look in different directions while I tapped A and I eventually got it to work. Thanks again!
Always start with 9 Int and as soon as you get out of the vault, make a b-line for Rivet City. Don't kill anything, avoid fights, you don't want to level up. Also don't read books until you reach the science lab at Rivet City and get the Int bobblehead. Enjoy reaching 100 in every skill way before level 30
In moiras place, if you go to the staircase and right next to it behind a wall is locker that contains the house upgrades which you can open in third person
I started fallout 3 GOTY on PS3 (I'm a collector so i play original games on orginal consoles for maximum experience i missed) for the first time to see why folks like the game. The first time I saw the wasteland was in quarantine ironically 😅
Very useful video. I always wanted to play Fallout 3 since it's release but i never had a chance to do so, because something always got on the way. Like, tons of other games got in the way, or i just forgot about Fallout 3. And so, after so many years i finally remember that i wanted to play this game, got it, tried it out and... well, it ended up too much for me. I mean, there is $hit metric tons of stuff to do in this game, and i'am not used to it. I always played action games or fps games for my whole life, and i have been stuck with fighting games too. So, playing Fallout 3 for me is such a big challenge that it becomes frustrating. I even stopped playing it for few days already, because it felt like i'am not moving anywhere in that game, been always stuck in the same place, doing random stuff and with less luck of having a good guns or upgrades and stuff. And so, after watching your video for about 18 minutes i realized that, you can't play this game without a freaking guide. I mean, how do you supposed to know, where is what and what to do, if you are playing this game for the first time? Sure, i didn't had any problems with many other games that i played through my life, but this one here... it is quite big challenge. Sure, i played RPG games in the past, like Metro 2033 or Stalker, but those games are easy to play. I mean, i can run through Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl from start to end without any problems by just holding sprint button, and have all weapons and stuff in no time. In Fallout 3 on the other hand, it became so frustrating that it later became boring to even play this game. So yeah, i'am in conflict with myself, where one half of me wanted to left this game and play it further, by just having fun, but other half wanted to delete the game and forget that it even existed. Thus, i don't know what i want from this game. Do i want to play it, or do i want to remove it. Like, i want to do both: play and and uninstall it, but since i can't do both at the same time, i just decided to stay away from this game for a while. Playing some boomer shooters. And i feel like Fallout 3 is not the game that i wanted anymore. Maybe i'm wrong and need to give it a chance, but if i'm gonna play it by tutorial then what's the point of playing it anyway?
Follow this guide and you will have the time you dreamed of in this game in my opinion lol fallout 3 is one of the absolute greatest games of all time you just need to give her a chance

Thanks!
Thanks buddy I appreciate it!
It’s helping a lot so far and I’m only 15 minutes
happy to help man!
Love your content dude, I’ve watched all of your best start vids, every skill vid for skyrim, all of it. Keep up the good work my guy 👍🏼
Been re-playing this on my steam deck and this video was a great refresher. Thanks! For anyone else with a deck, this game runs great!!
How does it run on deck? I’m getting mine soon
Thank you so much for this guide! I've played through Fallout 3 multiple times, and I've never known about quite a few of these locations!
I just downloaded this for the first time a month ago after playing fallout 4 600+ hrs . Awesome video , pumped for another fallout game to get lost in ! Cheers
you love Fallout 3 so I immediately respect you
As a Fallout 3 vet this is the best guide anyone has ever made, didn't even start the storyline 😂
I really wanted to gift the newcomers my experience lol
@@GameVibzMason it's a 10/10 start imma try the game the way you did it man. It's a Great guide
This is the most thorough video I've ever seen regarding this particular subject.
Appreciate the comment!
For the House upgrades glitch you don’t need to spend A SINGLE CAP doing it, heres what to:
1. Go inside crater side supply
2. Once you inside, turn left into the open doorway
3. Turn to your left which then you will be facing a wall next to a pipe
4. Crouch and spin you camera outside the wall and then you will see that you can open a locker. (It will count as stealing so make sure no one sees you) also make sure you camera moves and not your character at the same time, to do this simply hold the 3rd person button and then hold it while spinning your camera inside the wall
5. Open the locker and in which you will find every house upgrade for you Megaton Player Home!
I did not know the lucky 8 ball was a thing. Props to the Content. I have watched every version of this video, bringing me nostalgia from my childhood. I appreciate it!!
21:27 Red arm pumping with one of the Big Town people dead in the background 😂💀
If you get the romance theme for your house, you get a bed right inside your front door for an easy well rested xp bonus without having to go upstairs.
My favorite parts are when he blasts a raiders head off with a soda bottle and goes "HA HA HA" 😂
still love this game.. you make me want to play it again.. successful video (for me at least). Mad props if you figured this out yourself by playing a massive amount of hours and no guides!
Excellent video. Gives me a reason to be immersed in one of my favourite games of all time again.
I just followed your Dead Money completionist video yesterday- the timing on this one is uncanny!
my favorite start was always mothership zeta DLC bc by the end you had all these awesome alien lazer guns!
The operation anchorage glitch you showed in this video is MONEY🔥 never knew about it until just now !
Crazzyy i stumbled upon this video, i just started playing fo3 yesterday glad to see people like you still playing this gem
DC is pretty much clear of any danger because I went on a city wide hunt.
you are extremely EVIL lol
Thanks man!!
This was excellent. I've recently dusted off a ps3 and have a GOTY edition coming in the mail. This video has me hyped all over again!
It’s 1440p on series s and 4k on series x. So graphic fidelity shouldn’t be a problem unless you’re playing it on Xbox 360 haha
I'm about to start this game again after many years away.
This is my first stop. 👍
Another thing I would add is in moiras shop by the stairs there are some holes in the wall were light shines through there’s a locker in the wall if you move your camera around standing by those holes you can get all the upgrades for your house for free
Noo wayy!!!
@@GameVibzMason yeah it’s a seeet trick you use that trick you did in the national guard armory and you should get the prompt to open a locker
Gonna have to restart my play thru of FO3 and rewatch this
Worth it bud! Lol
in most of my gameplays i finish everything i can possibly do in megaton then i blow it up.
At the small raider camp at 33:42 there’s actually 2 skills books the second is by the bed if it wasn’t blown away by the missile
Your video is wonderful. My only comment is that in several locations you take us to, I found several skills books not captured in your video. But if people take your video as a general guide and just explore, they should find them like I did.
Oh man this is one of the greatest Fallout 3 videos I've seen❤
This was a fantastic guide my guy! Some of these glitches and tricks I already knew but, some were completely new to me, which I thank you very much for sharing. Have you done a similar guide of FNV? If so, can you link me to it, please! Thank you very much! And keep up the amazing job.
Yeah I did check the channel I have one on every fallout
@@GameVibzMason Oh! Ok, I will definitely do that. Thanks a lot.
randomly decided to start fo3 again followed this guide practically to the letter and it was the best start for sure :)
was just about to replay this game. thank you for remaking this vid.
Gamevibz upload? On Fallout 3? On my birthday? Best gift for sure
Happy Birthday!
@@GameVibzMason Thanks man, are you thinkin about redoing New Vegas as well?
@@brenfordr4161 eventually not immediately
Sick dude my birthday was yesterday!
Across from moirias stairwell you can glitch through the wall and there’s a locker with all the house upgrades
WHAT!?
I fix the radio as soon as i can so i can jam all over the wasteland😂. Been changing it up this playthrough so thats what brought me here, thank you for the video!
I'll have to remember some of this for my next play through.
I have so much to thank you for man. hope nice things happen to you. love you so much
Hey thanks love you to bud!
Love the ENTHUSIAM In Your Voice! ! ! Great Job!
2:36 Yeah quite scenic, isn't it? 😄 I love your "tips". And your SPECIAL selection is really gut since most good perks requires score at least 6 certain criteria so It's real convenient to start with most scores no less than 5.
Or maybe you can call ME the new Sheriff in town!
One of my favorite video games of all time! Thank you so much for redoing this
You forgot to mention, you can always lower rhe difficulty in the middle of VATS to do more damage and before you kill them, change it to Very Hard to get more XP.
Why even play the game at that point?
I had no idea
@@joshuamcchristian5365 ask bugthesda they designed it that way after all
Great video my man. I watched also all your dlc and best starts for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Super helpful and also keep it up.🙂
This is the best guide to start the game so far, thank u dude, this was so fun ☢️
" You picked the wrong Ghoul to Fu*k with kid " Roy Phillips my favorite ghoul of all time.
Thank you so much omg, this game was so difficult without this walkthru
this really helps i recently beat fallout 3 and this will really help out a lot cause i'm currently only lvl 14 and i have broken steel dlc so this really helps
I miss this game, so many good memories
Appreciate the guide brother done carried me through the whole game.
You motivated me to clean up the Xbox 360 and play it and made a build based on this video. Obviously I spawned to level 30 at the water plan and curently doing the Anchorage dlc. Great video my man you could consider making videos about Fallout 76 current status and future plans.
I never comment but when I do it's legendary. Great work
Thanks, man. I'm glad you liked it 🙏
Just before you exit the vault where three 2 guards come out you can get more loot - including 3 purified waters so you can give one to the guy begging outside Megaton. And also to give to that Ben guy that Sam Warwick seems to be after.
Followed this guide until the end and wasn’t able to access Gary’s body. Great!
Dang! Wasn't positioned just right, I guess
@@GameVibzMason still a great video, thanks a lot!
You probably should’ve got the intelligence bobble head early as possible
Fallout 3 got me into gaming. I dumped sooo many hours into it lol! Great video dig your sarcasm
In moiras place, if you go to the staircase and right next to it behind a wall is locker that contains the house upgrades which you can open in third person
Wow, I never knew about those glitches. I got the experimental MIRV for the first time ever. Pretty cool.
So started playing this game after I saw this guide and the GOTYE went up free in Epic Games. Thank you.
Nooo way, yooo a remake of your old video, i love it
A much needed improvement lol
I started fallout 3 GOTY on PS3 (I'm a collector so i play original games on orginal consoles for maximum experience i missed) for the first time to see why folks like the game. The first time I saw the wasteland was in quarantine ironically 😅
Fo3 is one of the best games of all time 👌
@@GameVibzMason I thoroughly enjoy it... I look forward to new Vegas next.
I hope fallout 5 will be as good as 3
Very useful video.
@@GameVibzMason I'm trying. Started new game few hours ago, and was playing it, until the game crashed. Because PC version is not optimized for modern OS. Even on Windows 7, it crashes. Also, i have none DLC version because, i decided to try it first and see if i like it or not, and then get the full version.
Very nice tutorial for begginers on wastelands!
Truthfully I would not tell a new player to follow this guide. In about an hour you've gotten most of the best stuff in the game and become OP. For a better experience I would just tell a new player to go in blind and enjoy the game as intended with it's progression curve intact.
It's hard to disagree lol
Yeah a first run should be totally blind, but the third run or so should be "I could kill and eat this entire wasteland and none of you could stop me"
I've played fallout 3 for years but after watching this i feel like a noob
