Just discovered you today, Valentina! Love what you teach us about French Decor. You and your husband are lovely together! He is so handsome and funny and adds such charm.to your show. You are lovely and gracious, Valentina. I lost my beautiful husband in August 2020 and am still grieving his beautiful being. Kiss your husband, hug your husband, compliment your husband, right there on your show. One just never knows, Valentina. I am a new subscriber. French!!!!!
I love your channel! You are such a ray of sunshine. I was so inspired during this video...I paused it...ran out in my backyard and took a few cuttings. Styled a few vases I had around the house. Instant joy! Thank you!! P.S. Husband thought I lost my mind when I went all the way to the back of our yard in an unmatched pajama pant set to cut some plants, lol.
You’re my favorite. Every morning I wake up so excited to see what’s new. I love your edgy modern euro style. If there’s one person’s home I would redo for myself it would be yours
Love the idea of using branches instead of only flowers for vases. Flowers are definitely much more feminine than my taste and overall mood of my place. I have house plants but it's a different look all together using branches in vases. Thanks for sharing!
My mother was a long time collector of Waterford pieces and used cups, bowls, pitchers and sometimes even the vases as vases. It was so much fun to watch what she would come up with next! Because of her I now have an entire shelve of vase options in my basement.
Hi Valentina, Thank you so much for all the fabulous, uplifting videos. I am a fashion designer/instructor in Canada who taught in Casablanca and Rabat, Morocco years ago. I appreciated the frank video you published some time ago about your time there and could relate. I am with, you all the way, about prioritizing feel-good environments and being kind to ourselves. I have a few vases that I love the shape but that sweat when holding water. Not good for wood surfaces. OMG! Thank you so much for the tip about the water in a vase...inside the vase. I had an epiphany moment. Cheers to you and Jack
Your home is so soothing and beautiful!! I've learned from you to cut beautiful branches from my own garden and put them around the house in beautiful vases. I have leyland cypress trees and I cut some of the branches and they just look gorgeous around my home for winter decor!!!! I love your videos always so much info! Thanks :)
Many great ideas, you are, let me think... yup you’re my favorite designer/ stylist. I always learn something new. I’ve started placing simple branches from the yard into vases and it makes such a big difference and budget friendly. Thank you.
Love, Love this video. Thank you for sharing all your designer tips. I love the way you placed all your vases throughout your beautiful home. I will definitely use my shorter vases through my house because they don’t have to be the main focal point. More videos like this please. ❤️
I love your channel way too much 😆 All your suggestions, ideas and style I really like. So many I am slowly implementing in my house and it's giving it a whole different feel. Less is more and I'm proud of some statement pieces I'm getting over lots of stuff. So thank you from Australia 🇦🇺
Interesting video! Who knew I would get so much out of a program on vases. You definitely know how to make this subject interesting and enlightening. Thanks so much.
Good morning Valentina! I just love that you’re putting out more videos! I check every morning! I love your taste in vases and what you put in them. I just had to rewatch this video and order a few(who knew Home Depot sells vases🤷🏼♀️)
Love your energy, enthusiasm and knowledge. It's great that you include your children in some video. Your son is hilarious. And ofcourse Jack....... soooo ...delicious, humorous guy.
Bonjour Valentina ! Loved, loved this video it made me think that it is time for me to change some vases (in my collection) and perhaps spoil me with a few new additions LOL" Love the greens all over the house and a few touches of flowers, it brings a really nice soft of colors !
Hi Valentina! I love the use of greenery in vases instead of using them for just flowers. I also love the use of material from your garden. I’ve always liked the idea of planting shrubs, that are good for cutting, on the side of the house. A good shrub for this purpose is forthysia as it can provide all year interest. Thank you for an awesome video!
Valentina love your style! It's exactly what I've been looking for and could never find until now. Your styling tips have changed my home for the better. Thank you so much.
Hi Valentina! Love your content. I like it when designers place context into their design concepts. I purchased the “origami” vase from Amazon. I was a little disappointed with it’s scale. Then, I realized you were a tiny tiny woman. It’s ok, still like it and currently in the living room having a cocktail table moment.
This video literally made my day! The different textures and quality in these vases are so amazing...Makes me want to get them all...lol. Enjoy your content everytime you post
I have a vase at home....its a hand me down from my mom's side. Its made of glass and not the prettiest looking one but I consider it very important as its an antique piece. My mom's great grandfather bought it in 1910 when India was under British rule.
Love, the vases and arangements...my home is full of greens, vases, flowers... must have life around me, love the look! I have three very large beautiful baskets, hanging over my table in my dinning area,I let my roses dry, and have filled one of the baskets with them... very pretty, moves the eye up...the other baskets have greens and big moss balls, and wooden balls...love❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lately I’ve been seeing very similar designer ideas and suggestions of decor, to me all this looks so beautiful and perfect and thus, an extension of a busy life, to be this is part of an entire culture that make us in such a hard task of having everything perfect, all this “perfection” feeds the marketing of trendy decor, everything seems to take so much effort and life here in the US is challenging itself. I truly identify myself with the effortless way of interior design of European, more appreciation for the antique, unique and simple things of life. I love watching Parisian vibe decor, almost like the street style of home design, they treat their house decor the way they approach beauty with such an effortless vibe. Although, I love watching this videos, they are very exquisite but totally beyond my identity, they feel imposible to me.
Love love love ur video. Specially ur statement base and ur statement that its a way of self care having some thing beautiful and uplifting to see each morning❤️❤️❤️
I never thought about using clippings from a larger plant to put in other vases until I saw your holiday video. Now I can add more greenery around my house without spending a dime! Thank you for this amazing idea. Love your style and videos. I'm not ready for spring since we just had about 25 inches of snowfall this past week so I'm still decorating with pines and other holiday plants because I love cold weather.
I just bought a bud vase from Target And couldn’t figure out what to put in it. I just loved the shape so I bought it. Today I put a bunch of leftover eucalyptus stems in it and it looks great!
Sister, mama, baby, lol. I love it. ❤️ Thanks so much. I had to stop the video and order the Amazon one before it sold out. It’s such a good price. I am still waiting to see that beautiful etched Mercury vase that you found a few months back. I’ve been looking everywhere! I can never get enough of your bathroom. Please make another video of it. An updated tour if you will. Thank you!!
I love your collection of beautiful vases! I also love this black and white Kähler vase, unfortunately I only have the mini one. I found it at a castle we visited last summer and I was sooo happy when it was on sale and I could get it for not much at all! Flower and greenary are so important mood elevator in a home, I almost always have a bouquet of flowers on my kitchen table, today I had to throw out the one I had and now it looks so empty! :(
Ciao Valentina, i love all vases so beautiful& nice decorated, adore ceramics different texture, i'v a lot of real flowers in every room, looking for beautiful big pots, definetily need couple of vases probably, colourful& neutral really useful information, grazie ciao😘
So I knew you could help me. I painted my fire place the same color and I wanted to add a chest of drawers to one side and not the other due to the same similarity of not being able to like your home. But you just helped me affirm my thoughts. You’re so my fave designer. Love you
Love this❣️ Thank you for sharing your beautiful vases and Home. I Found a HUGE beautiful Antique vase last weekend and can't wait to style it with HUGE branches as you did ❣️ Also I Wanted to Thank you for sharing all your favorite Coffee Table books I Purchased All of Hans Blomquist books!!! They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL books. I absolutely LOVE them ❣️ And I would have never known about them if it wasn't for you. So THANK YOU, for always sharing your love for Interior Design!!!
I bought two very interesting vases from someone I follow on Instagram. They have an origami structure similar to yours, but the base is oval instead of round. Very interesting just by themselves, or with a couple of flowers in them. I loved the way she styled them on her Instagram and couldn't believe she was selling them!
A little late , but I asked my husband to cut a few branches off his oak tree~~!! Boy did he!! I put most ina large vase on the floor, and the extra branch is sitting on the kitchen table,in a green glass jar~~ says coffee on it!! Perfect!!
I’m so grateful you teach and share through your passion!!! I am OBSESSED with your videos! I am however, stumped on how I should style my leather couches. They were a huge investment so they aren’t something I’ll be replacing anytime soon. How do you incorporate this beautiful style when you have dark red/ish leather?? 😩
I look forward to every video you publish and this one is as excellent as the rest. Question: can you share where you got the beautiful white urn (with leaves) that's on your dining table? Stunning! Thank you for continuing to give us your design perspective. Refreshing!
I was just looking at my empty vases and wondering what to put in them this time of year when nothing is really blooming. I live in your general area. I don’t think any of our trees are still leafing ( new house), but I’ll check! Trader Joe’s also has inexpensive flowers!
Watching your channel I longed for a monstera plant. Finally I found one. It’s doing great. Loves her showers. Wondering how many years before she is as big as yours.love your videos.
Thank you Valentina, I love that I can prune the bushes and trees when it's not so snowy, if my husband will do it for me and not chop down the tree, lol!!!!! We love ya Jack😉!!!!! I love your vases I'm going to have to give vases a think!!!!!! I love flowers so much, I would love to have flowers in the house!!!!! Have a wonderful day Valentina!!!!!! I can't believe how many times I said, "I love" omg!!!! Oh well!!!!!
I love the video but I use artificial flowers from places like Michaels and pottery barn. I have multiple seasonal colors and keep them stored in space bags to use during each season. That includes artificial fruits. I can bend and mix flowers in so many options. Some seasons I am in a more minimalist mood which is where I am now. I have an assortment of vases in neutral colors for both the floor and tables. Some of my vases are without any flowers or branches bc they’re grouped. Your point about vases being an inexpensive way to change a space is on point. EQ3 has nice vases too!
Valentina, you provide such a great style guide and wonderful content. Love all the series that you (and Jack) provide. I have a question for you, where did you purchase the urn/bowl that you have on the kitchen table In this video? You did not comment on it, but I just love it with what looks like leaves around the edge. Keep going with would you are doing. Take care from Canada.
My goodness, I don't have green fingers but you are so tempting me. The ideas are simply practical and the vases, I need to win the lottery. Lovely video. #TheV-Mug💖

I love all of your videos!! Subscribed and watch every single one!!! Do you have some good suggestions for large affordable books? Also, what is the measurement of a “large” book in your opinion? Thank you

I totally agree with Vanessa, I’m so happy to finally find a designer with the same style as myself

Great style!. I love trees and branches. Would you have any recommendation for online shops to get artificial branches of good quality?
A little late , but I asked my husband to cut a few branches off his oak tree~~!! Boy did he!! I put most ina large vase on the floor, and the extra branch is sitting on the kitchen table,in a green glass jar~~ says coffee on it!! Perfect!!

Thank you!!! Awesome video 🇨🇦
I often put a big round stone in the bottom of the vase if it's not heavy enough and might fall when it has greenery or flowers in it.
I LOVE your videos
I love the video but I use artificial flowers from places like Michaels and pottery barn. I have multiple seasonal colors and keep them stored in space bags to use during each season. You can buy the Kahler vase on Amazon it’s £35.82 pounds ...maybe also on the US site .
I love the vases. Do they sweat because they have water in them? Should I be careful what I place them on top of?
Love love love it
Valentina, you provide such a great style guide and wonderful content. Love all the series that you (and Jack) provide. I have a question for you, where did you purchase the urn/bowl that you have on the kitchen table In this video? You did not comment on it, but I just love it with what looks like leaves around the edge. Keep going with would you are doing. Take care from Canada.
Love your channel.
I adore that vase from Copenhagen ❤

Try using a little peroxide in your water for flowers ( water and peroxide equals oxygen and flowers LOVE IT.) IF YOU WATER HOUSE PLANTS THEY WILL NOT GET THAT WHITE MINERAL BUILT UP AND YOU CAN ALMOST WATCH THEM GROW.
I love all of your videos!! Subscribed and watch every single one!!! So when you were showing the first vase I paused and went to Amazon to check out the coffee table book you have, little black jacket, it’s $1,000. Do you have some good suggestions for large affordable books? Also, what is the measurement of a “large” book in your opinion? Thank you
Can you do a video on how to bring more light into a space without natural light?
Do you have a video for decorating around big TV above mantel?
