I loved your video... I couldn't get over how small the shopping carts are!!! They look kid sized compare to our huge shopping carts in the US. I can't imagine how many I would need shopping for my family of 12:)

We do exactly the same. Make a menu, check our store cupboard to check what we have/do not have, go to supermarket for basics then fruit and veg Market for all our fruit/veggies

I really enjoyed this video. I love the separate stores and quality of food. I used to shop this way and it worked perfectly. I somehow got away from the simple structure but, am going back to my roots and starting again.

We always fill our shopping cart with good choices for our meals and surprised how little some people fill their carts.😉 Would love to see her cook a meal after the shopping. You might consider doing a simple ebook with some nutritious meals. I know we're always on the look out for good meals🙂👌

Nice video, Lucie! Your mother is lovely and so organized, and I love how she is helping you to create content. I am reading a book called Home Sweet Maison, which is one of those books about "French style." The author makes it look like French people have sophisticated meals every day with fine china in a formal dining room, but your videos show that although the French pay a lot of attention to food and eat at the table, the meals and settings are not so elaborate.
Very interesting! I would say that most french people of my generation don't, unless they're having guests over!
