Macros entire banana bread: 1456 calories, 176C, 40F, 109P
Dry:
120g oat flour
60g vanilla whey protein powder
30g sweetener
40g cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
salt
OPTIONAL:
30g walnuts
Wet:
1 egg
100g egg whites
100g liquid coffee
2 ripe bananas
100g Greek yogurt
Bake at 180°C or 350°F for 45-50 min. The banana bread lasts in the fridge for 3-4 days. I would cut it into 4 big pieces and store them in an airtight container. Every piece would have 360 cals with 27P.

These variations on oatmeal/mashed banana/cocoa powder/protein powder loafs have become some of my favorite snacks. I make them all the time now. Really filling and tasty. Thanks Felu!
A small tipp - bloom the cocoa powder with the hot/warm coffee/espresso to develop more of that cocoa coffee flavor!

@@thodorisevangelakos Its to wake up / intensify the flavor. Just like when you heat up spices, the smell and aroma gets "stronger".

Thanks for the recipe, looks very interesting! I think there is a mistake with the macros page at the end of the video though. You left the greek yoghurt off which would increase the overall calories a bit and make the macros even a bit better IMO. I found the macros of 100g of the yoghurt you are using as 61 Kal, 5g Carbs, 0g Fat and 9.4g Protein. The total would therefore be: 1517 Kal, 181g Carbs, 40g Fat and 118g Protein.

What can I substitute with espresso? I dont use/drink coffee at all so which product can i instead?
Just same amount of any liquid. You could go fancy with a chai tea. If you feel lazy just using water us fine. Could also go with ovomaltine, malt coffee ...
Milk would make it better than just water but any liquid like that will work

If you don't want a protein based cake watch something else. You cant sub out the main ingredients because you don't use them, just find a recipe without
There is no substitue to protein powder directly, however protein powder is basically milk, so you could try to add more greek yogurt and sweetener but that's no guarantee

You should be able to replace the coffee with just milk, yup. The egg/egg whites, however, you may want to look into using chia seed, flax seed, or applesauce as a substitute. You can look up plant-based egg substitutes in recipes to see what might be used and in what proportions.

No, It will only increase calories but will work just as fine
Do you have any concerns about erythritol? I know recent study indicated that it can cause blood clots.
Not so sure about that study. They used a dosage that is 10 times higher than permited in drinks in europe and most people wouldn't even come close to consuming that much erythritol during the day.

@@RealTaIk I switched protein powders out of an abundance of caution. I am loath to give up my favorite protein bar as well. I know I shouldn’t rely on processed forms of protein, but it’s hard for me to meet even my modest protein goals otherwise.
