The ability to sell drugs like you can in chinatown wars needs to make a comeback in gta 6, it was one of my favorite mechanics. And I loved the minigames, I felt more INVOLVED in the crime. I wasn't just watching someone do the crime, I was hotwiring the cars, cutting open trucks, sabotaging cars, scratching lotto tickets (which I will admit was my favorite part of the game at the time being under 18 and unable to buy lotto tickets in real life) so the minigames were never tedious to me. I've completed the game several times on a DS Lite and just recently got back into playing it again. I do have to say that the best way to experience this game to its full potential is playing it on PC using PPSSPP and preferably a decent gamepad. The emulation is flawless and things like upscaling the textures, 5x internal resolution and anti aliasing make the game look absolutely beautiful compared to the pixelated mess on the DS. I bought it for Android as well but the PSP version has better graphics when upscaled imo (shadows and lighting effects).
Eh I wouldnt really label CTW as a "spinoff title", it is a canonical mainline entry to the GTA series and is in the HD universe as confirmed by Rockstar, also makes cameos in TBOGT and TLAD which were in development at the same time as CTW.

Truth be told, I actually love GTA V. When I made this video, I hadn't played GTA V in nearly 3 years, So I let the disappointing aspects of the game clog my memory. A couple months ago I decided to replay it out of boredom, And I found myself loving it alot. I honestly regret how much I dunked on the game in my previous Reviews.
I still go back to the gta games on ps2 and gta 4 because they're total classics in my opinion. 5 was a bit underwhelming in my opinion though and i feel like it doesn't have the staying power of the other games.

I’m surprised how few people mention that the controls in the ds version of this game are super awkward. Flipping quickly between regular gameplay and the stylus is pretty hard to manage unless you have one of those finger stylus things and the 8 way directions are very had to use on the ds d pad. This to me makes the ds version almost unbearable.
@Paul Bell I’m wondering if you’ve played this game or you’re talking generally? If you’ve played this in particularly talking about the mini game where you have to play to use the screwdriver. For me this is impossible without a stylus
Underrated? It's literally the highest rated DS game on Meta Critic. Low sales doesn't make a game underrated - it just means that less people bought it. And, honestly, they were aiming for Vice City level sales, which was probably a mistake on their part.
It's underrated in the fact that it's not only unsuccessful, But barely anyone knows or talks about this game. Chinatown wars is a game that might as well not exist due to how obscure it is compared to the rest of the GTA series.
I don't really see it as being that obscure. I recall it having quite a lot of marketing at GameStop back when it released, and there was even an episode of South Park where Cartman was obsessing over the game prior to its release. I certainly wouldn't consider it to be more obscure than stuff like GTA Advance or the GBC ports of GTA 1 and GTA 2.

Hey man nice review try no$gba emulator it is no laggy like desmume but if you don't like the jagged edges don't use this emulator but it does worth it since you can play both Nintendo ds and Nintendo game boy advance games on this emulator
I don’t remember liking gta 4 because the camera were crazy. I like gta sa more
So people think sernandoe is the greatest channel ever, But people don’t think this underrated channel is good.
People some days man.
It didn't sell well because it was busy being pirated on to the r4
This is a suggestion Slayer Coon mate but how about for a future video you go over why you dislike GTA 5. 5 is my personal favorite GTA game but I respect your opinion mate
SlayerCoon oh I apologize for that mate. Also I feel honored to have you reply to me comment
I still go back to the gta games on ps2 and gta 4 because they're total classics in my opinion. 5 was a bit underwhelming in my opinion though and i feel like it doesn't have the staying power of the other games.
Gta ct is kinda like if you combine the well known graphics of gta3 and gta 1.
Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories and This are underrated and I have LCS on PS2 and Chinatown Wars on the DS
I mean, I like GTA 5
The way that I got Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Was I had an R4 and in one of the updates well I broke the time bomb and to this day I still play Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars but they are for came with cheats/mods or whatever you want to call them and from then on it was my favorite game and there was graphic glitches because I was going too fast in the car is because one of the cheats was Turbo
I still play it on the DS
can you make review for cartoon
I loved this game i wanted a sequel
"Gta v was a letdown" seriously? It was a grand return after gta iv.
Please watch this to find out why. ua-cam.com/video/GWVtZJo-HqI/v-deo.html
@@Slayercoon666 OMG GTA 5 DOSEN'T HAVE DETAILS PRESENTED IN GTA 4 WHAT A LET DOWN!
God this is one of the most stupidest reasons to believe gta 5 is a let down, because yeah let's just completely forget the story, improved mechanics/ gameplay, content available, graphics, controls, music, writing, etc. Yeah screw that, the game dosen't have small details (which mind you are easy to miss) LET DOWN.
i just downloaded chinatown wars on this old ipad and omg is so cool
does it have voice acting? what about the iOS game?
The only voice acting in the game is from the pedestrians, The dialogue in the Cutscenes are delivered through text.
@Paul Bell ok Paul 👍
Paul's right bro
gta Chinatown wars is the most realistic gta in the whole series
I have this game! But it freezes a lot so I don’t play too often!
Talking about GTA V was not a let down GTA what's the best game ever made
I wish gta was on 3ds and pa vita ☹😥
I got the Android version on PS Vita.
Boiling down gaming opinions to “these dude bros think Nintendo gay, Nintendo think GTA dude bro” is extremely embarrassing 2008 horse shit.
I'm not proud of that part of this video I must admit.
Slayercoon? 🤨
Me trying to play china town
I have the DS version
I played this game on iOS
The PSP version is better then the DS version!!!
you r very under rated
finally sum1 who thinks that 5 a let down
