Another great video. Just shows with the right tackle you can still have a lot of fun in a short space of time even with the smaller fish. Fishing is such a great value sport. A hundred quid would buy a decent rod, reel, line and a few baits. Compared to the cost of attending football matches, playing golf or dare I say participating in any form of motorsport it’s terrific value. There is a lot of pleasure to be had from handing on the skills and enthusiasm to the next generation too. Your videos will still be there to help do that long after the rest of us are gone👍
probably a stupid question im new enough to fishing. Do you tie your main line to the barrel swivel the leader to the other side then tie the leader direct to the lure or do you use something like a snap swivel to change lure quickly

Hard to beat trout fishing in little rivers like that, we’re most of us started out…. Great for practicing casting in tight areas 🎣👍🏼

No Seamus, I tie the mainline to the leader then the leader to the barrel clip

Something I am not very experienced in, I have however just got a brand new set up to give it a go and make a video 👍

Usually a snap swivel Lewis, only time I don't use one is when I'm using the jigs, then I tie straight to it
