I have the Speedgoat 3 waterproof shoes and I would say transitioning trail-road-trail is hardly noticeable. It’s probably the least noticeable of any trail shoe I’ve used. Great shoe!

Love the 4 but very hard to the 4's. I did find one for $220. Are they not making these anymore? If not, what is a comparable Hoka?
The Speedgoat 4 was the predecessor to the current Speedgoat 5 (which will be the closest option in the HOKA line). No plans as of now for an update. The EVO Speedgoat was a a limited release from HOKA geared at providing unique race day trail product to the people. We expect to see more unique trail racing product in the future. -Connor

My EVOs are my favorite shoes right now. Hoping to grab another pair or two before you can't find them anymore.
The speedgoat 4 gave me blisters every single time. Way to much friction. After 100k´s I threw them away.
