How do they get papers? Or are they considered "undocumented" and work under the table for money?They don't speak English. And many of them are "older". And why the US? There’s lots of weird farms importing undocumented labor and mistreating them. Wasn’t there a case in California recently where one of these laborers killed some people due to maltreatment and mental health issues?
The employment agency is only affiliated with the church, so the jobs they offer come from employers in the area. But according to the report, the agency appears to be just a front/bait to lure migrants into paying the pastor for illegal services.
Most of these Chinese migrants would claim political persecution as the reason for leaving China. However, if you ask them about their view on Taiwan independence, the majority will fiercely argue against it. In their point of view, it is absolutely righteous for themselves to enter the US illegally to pursue their freedom, but it is sinful for the Taiwanese population wanting to live freely outside the ruling of Beijing dictatorship.

As Mongolian who visited China last year, there were no clampdown on chinese christians. i've been told that they can do religious activities but just cannot openly promote it in public.

I would buy a green card for 5K. This is ridiculous, people earning degrees and professional certifications and not able to apply for a work visa. Those walk over gets a green card
But Indians can. They came in millions each year since 2000 starting with H1B visa and getting a high paying job in IT in US, with very little knowledge and we trained them. They then converted to green card after 5 years. Contrast to these Chinese migrants. It is so unfair.
They took the long hard route. Indians go to Canada as international students but obtain jobs, use food banks for the homeless. The Canadian government caves in to their protests to stay, work and claim permanent residence when they were suppose to leave after "studies". Hundreds of thousands of Indians have done this in the past year. If they choose to go to the US, it's easier with a base in Canada although some can't wait, a few died crossing by foot in winter. Some Canadians have noticed the substantial increase in the Indian population out of every other group and are miffed at their demands. To be fair there are just as many Indians crossing the Mexico border.

These people are not refugees, but economic migrants who wouldn’t quality for a work visa. If they were true refugees, they’d have sought refuge in the first place they landed where they could practice their faith freely, in their case, Ecuador. I hope the US authorities will investigate that church's pastor "Chang" if he is a real pastor. In fact, any American should do so to protect the integrity of the immigration/asylum system. It's easy to find out who he is from the appearance of the church and the pastor himself in the video, and there's even the church's phone number on the "board" at some point in the video.
Unfortunately this church is probably affiliated with the Falun Gong, who also run the Epoch Times, which is closely allied with the Republicans. The Epoch Times was exposed in a different documentary for grifting off these Chinese migrants while simultaneously helping them secure political asylum.
Problem with most chine immigrants is that after coming here for freedom, after they become legal, they and their children even after being free tend to vote the opposite of their\ interests. I’ve talked to many Asians and they admit they vote for socialist policies.

I am also looking for US visa. I am a technical person. I have no medical fitness. That is the problem .Life is boring here in India. There are training camps in Gujarat for crossing US borders. They train you on how to scale the wall and walk through rough terrains. Many Gujaratis illegally migrate to US through the same route through Mexico.

I worked in China before and we organized a Christian House Church where expats ańd Chinese friends come over for fellowship and we have not encountered any problem at all as long as long as we maintain our church in small group. It was one of the best spiritual experiences in my life.

The Asylum process is broken in soo many ways. It's so obvious that so many people are lying and being coached as to how to get papers in this country. The US is not a paradise, however it’s much easier for the average person to live a good life if you work hard enough. In the past 40 years the US is getting richer just like many other countries around the world. I remember my parents came here as war refugees in the 80s because they have no choice. We were very poor relied on food stamps and welfares, we lived in the high crimes ghetto neighborhoods and felt unsafe walking to our school bus stop. We couldn’t afford anything fancy and my parents drove old crappy cars. Today we can afford more nice things, live in safer neighborhoods, and better off financially compared to 30 years ago. American dreams aren’t dead yet.

I have friends who go to church regularly in Guangdong province. No surveillance no harrassment no nothing.

They took the long hard route. Indians go to Canada as international students but obtain jobs, use food banks for the homeless. The Canadian government caves in to their protests to stay, work and claim permanent residence when they were suppose to leave after "studies". Hundreds of thousands of Indians have done this in the past year. If they choose to go to the US, it's easier with a base in Canada although some can't wait, a few died crossing by foot in winter. Some Canadians have noticed the substantial increase in the Indian population out of every other group and are miffed at their demands. To be fair there are just as many Indians crossing the Mexico border.

The US is not a paradise, however it’s much easier for the average person to live a good life if you work hard enough.
In the past 40 years the US is getting richer just like many other countries around the world. I remember my parents came here as war refugees in the 80s because they have no choice. We were very poor relied on food stamps and welfares, we lived in the high crimes ghetto neighborhoods and felt unsafe walking to our school bus stop. We couldn’t afford anything fancy and my parents drove old crappy cars. Today we can afford more nice things, live in safer neighborhoods, and better off financially compared to 30 years ago.
American dreams aren’t dead yet.
Is never is, is how much you want it and how hard you want to work for it.
You won’t find a single drug addict of Chinese origin. They work hard and lead simple life.

A few of these Chinese illegal migrants will probably become rich in the near future because they are hard working & resilient. Look at the Vietnamese, they have become very successful in this country. In San Jose, CA. Where the majority of these Vietnamese Americans lived, owns different kinds of businesses, from owning shopping mall, restaurants, real estate investors etc. These Chinese will thrive in this country compared to illegal migrants coming from Venezuela, El Salvador, Honduras & other Latin countries who already started to commit crimes like what happened in New York, Texas & Ca.
