Hi, I looked ad several of your videos about the trike and I like the design. I am soon going to build one for my self. But I made some changes. One of them is them is, is that I raised the bottom a bit to get more ground clearance. I have the main design ready, but I am waiting for some info about the dor bikes. I will also have only a rear break. Maybe if needed, I will ad them also in the front. Here some things I changed and wil put on the bike. A bit more ground clearance. A different seat that can be set in different angles. Mounting the back for bags and on top of the rear wheel a solar Pannal. 2 upstanding parts near the front wheels where I mount my phone and other stuf. Lights. Here you need lights and I place them on the bike and will not use the loose ones that some people here use. A small electro motor for some extra suport. A small car battery. This will help to charch my phone also and power my lights. Something to put my had against. I like the simple design One bent in the frame and all other things are straight. Only not the wheel mounting. I have seen other designs and this one was outside the seat, the most simple and in my eyes best solution for a frame. I will soon start building as I have the donor parts. I than order the metal and the tires for the front and the chain will come later. But it will be cheap and I live that. I hope I can make an other one to sell. Than can I upgrade mine with that money. Thanks for the great videos with good and clear explanations. It helped me a lot.
Hi Tinny I have a couple questions on your "Angles video". At the bottom of the trike where the 2 - 20 degrees are welded, what is the length forward to the axle bar. Also I need the length going back to where the rear fork starts. I would send you a picture I screen shot to show you what I'm talking a about but you can't attach files here. I you would like to discuss through email let that way I can send the picture. Keep up the great job. This will be my first build.
