This will be my third winter using the standard version on my ICE. It's a very good simulation and enables any degree of "input" - lazy and bored to wow, I'm ready! I purchased 2 wheel risers rather than wood or books. Once the wheel is on the roller I manually rotate the wheel to check it stays centered. If it moves to one side I adjust the roller slightly. Easy Peasy......
I've heard on anther video that if you turn the trainer around so the red cap is on the left side (110) model), the resistance will be less, which is good if you're weaker or just starting out. Also, if you don't like the slightly downhill effect, you can cut a 2 by 4 and a thick dowel rod and put them together using long drywall screws. 2 by 4 sections under each front wheel raise the front of the trike to the level of the rear wheel when the trainer is being used. I screwed sections of the dowel rod into the 2 by 4 board, in front of and behind each front wheel to reduce the rolling-back-and-forth effect caused by the trainer. Thanks for making a great video. 🙂

I found that using the SportCrafters mat protects my wood floor and reduced wobble. Wheel chucks didN’t work but the mat sure did!
We have the double trainer. Excellent product.

Ok UT please answer this.... which trike uses an UDH in the rear?!?
Why not just use a generator and charge home batteries...
Is there a Smart trainer for a trike or or can I convert this "dumb" trainer to a smart trainer?
