Loved the video, what a nice guy in the sweet shop.
Thanks Terry ! He was such a kind soul 🙂
Good evening guys (+ Holly of course)!
Really loved this latest VLOG - got a real feeling of how chilled & friendly it is :) - So refreshing to see a shop owner (pastries) insisting he didn't want any money!! How rare is that? what a lovely guy!
So, if a 'rucksack' is for 'rucks' .... a 'Hollysack' is for 'Holly's' yeah??
I wonder why there are so many strays in Turkey? - you would think they would round them up? as they must scavenge? and therefore be a bit of a pest?
I had a good fix of drone shots today Chris, thank you - very nice as always.
Stay safe, drive safe & I look forward to the next one! Kev x
Thanks Kev :) glad you are enjoying the Turkey series - we are loving it so much here.
Holly is loving her Hollysack indeed !!
Really lovely guy - so many nice people here and there are millions of street dogs - they are trying to neuter them yes but it's a tough job with so many. Some are in need and we try our best but the majority who live in the towns and cities are well taken care of by the locals !
Thanks again for your support mate.
A lot of dogs are dumped by Turkish owners and they get pregnant. Turkish people often don't neuter animals like we do but lots of expats run animal charities and try to neuter animals to reduce breeding. Some dogs do end up in shelters but they are not nice at all and many dogs will die in there or be killed. Sometimes animals are rounded up and dumped in very remote areas to starve or freeze to death by Zabita which is like our council.
We go to Turkey twice a year as our daughter lives there and you see some very sad dogs and cats that are sick and starving. Most of them are very loving and just hungry and want some love or they are scared because they've been abused. A lot of Turkish dogs that are pets are not allowed indoors and are kept chained up outside 24/7 with scraps of food of lucky but often it's just stale bread or pasta they get and sometimes water if lucky. If you see a cat with some of its ear missing it means it's been neutered. Dogs that have been neutered usually have a tag on their ear. When street animals are neutered they are returned to the street because its considered safer than a shelter

Great video! I only have seen a little of Turkey, but it is still one of my favorite countries I have been to yet! Definitely a place I am looking forward to visiting again one day :) Can't wait to see where you all go!
Thanks so much ! So many amazing places here - we are having such a blast exploring and looking forward to sharing everything :)
Have a great time 👍👍
Thanks Gary - we are loving it and loads more Turkey videos to come 😃
When I was a child, I lived in Berlin and always was in trouble wirh Turkish boys there. So when my parents sent me to Turkey on holiday with my youth group, I was scared like there was no tomorrow. However, when we arrived and got speaking to the locals, like you, I found them so friendly and welcoming, especially to us children. This made me think that the Turks in Berlin might behave so boistrous out of insecurity. I think, if you ignore the political situation and keep away from the major tourist hubs, Turkey is such a lovely place for travelling.
That's so interesting !! Thanks for your comment. We definitely loved our time in Turkey ❤️
Hey guys. Your video is very good. Greetings from Çanakkale 👋. Çanakkale is a retired and student city. Life is cheap compared surrounding provinces. It was so nice to see my city from you 😊
Thanks for watching and for your kind comment. We loved it there and even in the surrounding areas ❤️ will be back in the future for sure !
Hello 👋 We are heading to Turkey around the beginning of December, ahh' would of been great to meet up with you both, love the doggie rucksack it's brilliant, maybe bump into both somewhere, sometime, Denise 🙋🏼♀️ Mark 🙋♂️

I hope you enjoy Turkey to the fulles have a nice trip
Thank you so much - we are loving it already :)
Nice video! How have you found Turkey for dog-friendly places? We are driving there in a few weeks, can’t wait!
Hey sure you will enjoy it - for dogs its a bit difficult because of the large number of street dogs. Holly still had a great time though 😊 we were just always on the lookout though for other dogs that might be aggressive or sick. But in regards to restaurants and stuff normally they have no problem.
another great vlog! super nice people.
Thanks so much guys ❤
Another amazing vlog !
Thanks mate - glad you are enjoying them 🙂
Well you guys. Firstly, I love the new dog bag. I am not sure if any of ours would get in it though 😅 Anyway, another brilliant video. They are very well put together.
We too love Turkey. The people are very friendly and we have always felt welcome there. I think we will visit again next year for a few months in the van. We don't have enough time this time around. All the best guys! 👍❤️
