You’re the man!!! I never thought that using a small jack to lower the right side axle I was struggling thank you man!!
un bolt the track bar from the axle side and the passenger side will drop out without forcing it down. If you need a bit more you could un bolt the upper control arm. But I fit 3 inch spacers on with the rubber isolators. driver side needed nothing the passenger side removed the track bar bolt axke side it was a tight ht fit I had to squeeze it in but it is a full 3 plus isolator a 2 inch would fit super easy .
Thanks for the reply looking into one for my 3500 dodge. Nice being able to see how and what's involved before I do. So thank you for your videos.
No problem. I always find these videos useful. It's a pretty simple project all in all if you have a little mechanical sense.
Glad it helped!
Well it was my brothers truck but the ride is just like stock. We didn't use the hellbent ones but they look the same. I wish I could remember the brand because they leveled it out perfectly.
Did you ever figure out the brand?
Did you get any dead wobble after this?
Is this the hellbent leveling kit? Did it level it out? or is the front still a bit lower? I also noticed you did not have to unbolt shock from bottom like i have seen others do. Looks great! Hows the ride?
But you dont finish this video ..what size on tires do you put? ...and what hapend with the rear part?do you put some lift blok?...regards
Do you have to install longer upper n lower control arms if you put a 3" spacer ?
I know your post is 2 years old, but YES, in order to align things up correctly when you take it to a shop, it is highly suggested. You can get longer control arms off of EBAY for about $200 and is well worth the money if you can't afford the higher end units.
Does it not come with a shock extension
No they don't. The shocks still have plenty of travel and it isn't necessary.
Do you know what size tires it will clear after this?
Typically if everything goes right and your wheel offset isn’t too drastic you can comfortably fit 35s. My truck I currently have had about a 1” offset and 35s.
Did you use coil spring compressors?
Nope, just drop the axle until the tension is off the spring
@@travischristy8334 ...Your the only video with the bottle jack idea.
I like the simplistic way you did the whole project. Mine are
getting put on this weekend. Thanks for the great tip.
