    Humans are a reflection of our environments and what we consume. When it comes to extending our health span-the number of healthy years we exist on this planet-it is critical to pay attention to what we consume, and that means paying attention to what our food consumes. I’m excited to sit down with my good friend, Dr. Jeff Bland, to discuss exciting new research from his recent clinical trial on the impact of phytochemicals on immune system aging and how to utilize the power of nature’s anti-aging wisdom through food.
    Dr. Bland is the founder of Big Bold Health. Through Big Bold Health, Dr. Bland is advocating for the power of Immuno-Rejuvenation to enhance immunity at a global level, often through the rediscovery of ancient food crops and superfoods. Dr. Bland and his wife, Susan, founded The Institute for Functional Medicine in 1991, and the Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute in 2012. Dr. Bland is the author of The Disease Delusion: Conquering the Causes of Chronic Illness for a Healthier, Longer, and Happier Life, as well as countless additional books and research papers.

    I’ve been eating grass fed beef and pasture raised eggs for 2 years now. I’ve never felt as good in years and years. Lost 80 lbs. Everyone who knows me from 5 6 years ago keep telling me how great I look.

      Do you eat vegetables also or primarily carnivore? I also eat only grass-fed beef and pasture raised eggs. I have been considering carnivore but am still on the fence. I am doing keto, intermittent fasting, I have coffee in the morning but other than that I maintain about a 20 hour fast. I have been eating vegetables and a little fruit, some blueberries occasionally.
      Grass-fed beef and pasture raised eggs are so important for reasons that go beyond our health.

      @@denpasarmoon5994 I don't think it's a consideration, I just had my annual doctor's appointment and all my labs are those of someone 20 years younger (I'm in my 40s) My A1C is 4.4 my inflammatory markers are non-existent and all the other labs are good.
      I don't think it is accurate to state that eating grass-fed beef, wild caught salmon and pasture raised eggs is a danger to your kidneys. Eating conventional meat maybe because of the inflammatory nature of it? Eating 16 oz of meat every day would be an issue but I don't eat 16 oz of anything. A serving is four to five ounces of beef and I might eat that three times a week the other days I eat chicken or fish or eggs. I eat avocado every day, blueberries, spinach, green beans. I don't eat any processed food or sugar. I'm reasonably sure my kidneys are good with that.
      What exactly is the concern, if you could explain it I'll be able to offer a better answer.

      That's fantastic to hear! Switching to grass-fed beef and pasture-raised eggs seems to have made a significant positive impact on your health and well-being. Sure seems like Health Insurance Companies and Medicare would be receptive to a WFPB vegan message.
    It would save them money on health care costs. This could off set the lobbying by food manufacturers.
    Maybe educating health Insurance Companies and Medicare administrators should be a priority.
    Health Insurance companies might even push doctors to take nutrition more seriously by paying for nutrition counseling of patients.

    • @Kyarrix
      @Kyarrix Рік тому +3

      People are generally reassured when someone they view as an authority agrees with them. That doesn't mean they're right though.
      He is wrong with respect to carnivore. It isn't gibberish. I don't do carnivore but for some people it is definitely the correct way to eat. What might be gibberish is the all or nothing approach. The carnivore people say that carnivore is the correct human diet for everyone. They're wrong. Someone else says eat the rainbow, eat buckwheat, eat lots of plants and this is the correct diet for everyone. They're wrong too.
      There are people for whom eating a vegetarian or vegan diet of whole foods is wonderful. They feel great and are objectively healthy. There are those who eat a ketogenic diet. Some do Keto with animal foods and some do it without. There are people who do vegan keto. And then there are those who are pure carnivore. You can take someone who does pure carnivore and they can be very healthy where they weren't when they were eating plants. That doesn't mean carnivore is right for everyone. It does mean that it isn't rubbish though.
      There is a tremendous amount of variance among us. What works for one person could make another sick.

Within minutes later I suddenly got extremely hot and broke out into a sweat which lasted probably less than a minute and so made me wonder what caused it. I'm an anti - evolutionist. Evolution = unproven theory.
      Everything was created by our great designer God. Jesus is coming back soon to fix the absolute mess that man has made with this planet. He will be ruling all of the nations with a rod of iron and I and every other saint that washed our sin away with the redeeming blood of Jesus will be ruling and reigning with Him during the next dispensation of time for the 1000 years that Satan the devil will be bound and thrown into a bottomless pit so as not to get into the hearts and minds of man such as He does now and has been for the past 6000 years ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed God and did eat of the forbidden fruit of the tree of knowledge of both good and evil. The only people that have the opportunity to live eternally forever are those of us born during this 2000 year dispensation of time between the first and the second coming of Jesus the Christ the only begotten Son of the only God our Creator and have obeyed the Gospel of Jesus the Christ to repent and to be born again of water and of the Spirit. Water is baptism by full emersion at an age of understanding and Spirit is to receive Gods gift of the Holy Ghost and Fire with the Holy Bible scriptures evidence of speaking in an unknown tongue as the Spirit gives utterance just like on the day of Pentecost. Satan will be let loose for a short time and once again man will descend back into sin just like before and during the 100 years it took for Noah to build the ark before the great flood of the known world and again when God rained fire and brimstone upon Sodam and Gomorrah as an example of what to expect after the next dispensation of time. Today is the day of salvation. Secure yours before the great and terrible day of the Lord. Repent, everyone of you and be baptised in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and ask God for His gift of the Holy Ghost and Power to come indwell your mortal body so as to be able to either awake out of sleep to rise to meet Him in the air or to never taste of death and to be changed, raised in the twinkling of an eye to be with all of the saints and to be like Jesus and see Him as He is with great power and glory with His heavenly host in great glory to take up His rightful Throne of His natural father King David where King Charles the third currently sits in the British Isles where the world government will be upon His shoulders. God has a plan and He knows the end from the beginning. He knows all things. His eyes run to and fro over the whole earth. He has every hair on our head numbered. He knows our every thought before we even think it. Not a single sparrow falls to the ground that he doesn't know about. No man knows when the end of the world will be not even His Son Jesus. The world will rock to and fro like a drunken man and there will be neither root nor branch that is not burnt up. Everyone will give account for every idle word that proceedeth out of the mouth. It is not what goes into a man that defileth a man but rather what comes out. The tongue is the most unruly member of the body full of poison. Receive Gods gift of the Holy Ghost, which is a pure language direct between you and God that can't be messed up with your natural thinking, get baptised and bury your old way of life. Become a new creation and walk on as Jesus using the power of the Holy Ghost to lay hands on the sick so they can recover. To heal the brokenhearted. To set people at liberty from their addictions. To put on the mind of Christ and to preach His gospel of repentance, water baptism and the infilling of the Holy Spirit to overflowing. Keeping yourselves topped up with the Holy Ghost by praying in the Holy Spirit without ceasing. Have a constant verbal relationship with God both in the Spiritual prayer language He gives you as well as in the understanding. With faith, nothing shall be impossible for you. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. You build up your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost. God is a God of signs, wonders and miracles. The miracles that Jesus did are still being done in our day and age. Talk to God. Ask Him sincerely for His most precious and valuable treasure the Holy Spirit. You will know that you have it because you will suddenly be able to speak in a language that you have never learnt.
