MY MAN!!! THANK YOU!!! I had the worst buying/consumer experience of my life getting my Dell Alienware machine (Go figure) and it's just gotten slower and slower which was another slap in the face.. no cuz i've never watched a video and ACTUALLY had it work for me- there was a notable difference in speed after following the steps around the 4 minute mark. definitely worth the 20 minutes of struggling prior to doing this and the 7 whole minutes it took to load this video lol

What a big difference! My only concern is that my font changed and now is very difficult to read, it honestly looks messy. Which setting is the one to revert the font back to a legible one? I literally purchased this laptop 2 hours ago and I'm not impressed, I feel that the laptop should function really well fresh out of the box and not require all of these changes. Oh well! I'll be happy if I can get the font legible again (it looks like half of a letter is bold and the other half is thin, extra round and extra squished together...weird)

I have followed your instructions but my system default font has been changed! I'm not able to see what font is that! It's hardly readable and I want to revert it to the default fonts! I tried every method online but nothing helped! Please let me know if you know the solution.

Basically, if you have a slower PC, turn off all of the Win 11 functionalities and let it be at a minimum like in a video game where you have a minimum or close to its machine, to turn all of the settings to low and very low.

its been two months my pc keep telling me that you pc is missing an important update but whenever i update it says that something didn't go as planed don't worry we are undoing all the changing i tried all sort of fixes but nothing works do u have any fix for it beside re installing windows

To summarize, do not defrag an SSD
The answer is short and simple - do not defrag a solid state drive. At best it won't do anything, at worst it does nothing for your performance and you will use up write cycles. If you have done it a few times, it isn't going to cause you much trouble or harm your SSD.

Windows will just send a TRIM command to your SSD, and not defrag it like it does on HDD, so basically it's harmless

Sometimes, in extremely rare situations, it's absolutely necessary to do so, when the files are so fragmented that you don't have almost no free space. But that happened to me just once in over ten yerars.
It should be noted that when you turn off Microsoft OneDrive from the startup list continuous synchronization will not occur.

don't turn on device usage its ads from microsoft
For example in about:
Gaming -> You might be offered an Xbox Game Pass trial or receive suggestions on apps and sites based on what is popular with gamers.
Business -> You might be offered a Microsoft 365 Business trial while using your PC.
Family -> You might see a notification to set up your Microsoft family group.

Typing still lagging. Taken a long time to type this. Some pages that you go to either don't come up/different or not recognised.
Are the last tricks safe? Caus i do online work such as live classes but its lagging too much

You can give them a try. You can always roll back the changes if needed.
defrag?? Most people have SSD drives now and a defrag will destroy the drive. You should have mentioned this. Also changing some of the settings you mentioned will cause certain items not to work. For some your recommendations might however I think most people viewing this have a greater risk messing things up rather than helping. However it is easy to change things back if needed .

i have a different problem i recently cloned my 500 gig ssd to a terrabyte ssd but now my pc is so laggy my cpu usage and ram is normal like my pc will lag like crap but all my temp and usage is normal its 13gen i5 32gig ram not sure what is going on i even got a bluescreen because it is so slow but my cpu usage and ram usage is normal like 1% 2% not running high at all just when i wana open a file or game is laggs like crap like its not responding

but one problem is also that windows 11 are checking is the start drive a hdd or ssd. if a hdd be found ,windows 11 will slow start by implant options

@@SkillsBuildTraining I found that deleting a folder in the register fixed the slow right click, but I can't find anything about the unresponsive selection of files while passing the cursor above them
@@SkillsBuildTraining i discoveres that it's not a problem when I start up the pc, but it starts being unresponsive from the moment i right click the desktop for the first time. It's like the pc tries to be always ready to show up the new right click menu, and that is what makes the hovering unresponsive.
As a temporary fix, I disabled the new context menu so now I have the old one instead.
You don't want to Defrag a SDD. Defrag is meant for disk drive.(HDD)
