you can also reduce the pace of the video (click on parameters or settings at the base of the video - then adjust the pace to 0.75 or at your own convenance)
Pausing works too.

Thank you for a clear and very useful video, my laptop is now faster but still much slower than it used to be, maybe because the processor is 5 years old. Any other tip to find out why and eventually improve, it's mostly that programs take up to 3 minutes to launch, then they work ok.

Is your hdd full? You need to leave some GBs free (5-7GB at least) to make the computer/operating system run smoother.
It's 100% because of your hdd... Let me tell you my story.... I have 8 year old cpu i3 3rd generation which took more than 3 minutes to boot to windows 10. After my hdd failed i changed to ssd... It was super fast..now my boot time was just 10 to 12 seconds...but ssd is slightly higher price compared to hdd...but ssd worth buying it
WOW! My computer is older than dirt. The CPU and Disk normally runs at 90%-100%. After following your steps the CPU is now at 3% and the Disk is below 10%.
I was just about to toss this 8 year old Dell and now it’s working again.

Windows 11 is a significant downgrade.
better to stay at win7, it doesn't use that much resources to work so better performance
Good explanation of regular pc maintenance. I would add though that once a month to click the "Clean up system files" button when in clean manager (1:28). Windows 10 leaves a lot of update files in case of a roll back but it takes up a lot of space. If you have no problems after an update these can be removed.

Scan for virus and infections. Watch in playlist how to remove virus. Also if no issues then create a new user account after that

Some of the PC boost performance videos I watched, skip the Temp directories for some reason!
Also, I would have added to defragment the drive, using either the Windows builtin defrag program or the freeware version of Defraggler.
