NO JOKE...I was just exchanging emails with Roger finalizing part order for these plugs for my 85. I decided to search..and BANG! #amazing A new upper harness is VERY EXPENSIVE...like way over $3K. For others benefit: You can order those butt connectors with "heat shrink insulation" on them...eliminates a step. Also, (new knowledge shared by another 928 owner) they make 6 to 1 shrink tube...4:1, 3:1 and 2:1 are more common. Handy if you're going over a GOOD connector and need to shrink down similar to this. Great video!
Awesome, good luck with your repair! These original connectors can get flakey causing intermittent engine issues, which was the case of the one in the video. Recommend getting the heat shrink tube that has the sealing glue inside. The pigtail option from Roger makes this job easy.
Good to see a new video from you, you do good work. I haven't seen those types of connectors and crimping pliers you used, What are they called? I really like your Porsche's, unfortunately they tend to be pretty expensive in the UK.

Thanks Keith for watching. These were non-insulated seamless barrel splice connectors. The crimp pliers had jaws for that application.
