I saw Godsmack I think on the very first tour 1998- 99, down here in South Florida and Sally stood behind a timbali set and had a little micro batella with the then drummer Tommy Stewart. An absolutely awesome show played the entire first album, we had the micro Batella(yes, they've been doing it since then) and the power went down for half the stage and then Sully told us all that Joey fucked it up. Power came back they restarted the song. They were with Fuel, Filter and like 3-4 other bands, 19.94$ to get them all at the Holloweinie Roast by Zeta4

During his hometown sessions during covid-19 did that that was faster for $500 that he could play that Rush song that blew my mind how precise he was

Sully Erna was a drummer long before he was a vocalist. I think he started playing when he was 3. Shannon Larkin is a longtime veteran of the hard rock scene,, played for Wrathchild America, Ugly Kid Joe, Candlebox etc. Im not a very big Godsmack fan but this drum battle is definitely impressive and awe-inspiring.

How can you tell a stage is level? When the drummer is drooling from both sides of their mouth.

So the one thing to know I believe they did this drum battle every live concert that they perform. It's a very unique idea and it's kind of cool to see two people that have experience playing drums the main studio drummer, and the singer doing this sort of drum battles /routine. What I found cool about this though is that the guitarist and the bassist was still playing in the background it wasn't just the drums the whole time.

I think when Sully re aligned I believe it gave him some special powers that he can see the world in a different way and instead of ignoring it which most people would do he became one of the best humanitarians on this I mean I really don't even need to go into all the stuff he's done because everybody knows what kind of musician does that kind of stuff though like really he's got started off as a band called scam scamming people and then they turned around and help the world out cuz believe it or not his show is probably what kept me alive during covid times and I'm speaking out on this because this show was so good that you guys should actually watch it if you haven't seen it was great and he was just winging it he's never done anything like that seriously that guy needs his own show cuz I would tune in lighting up the sky I sat with my guitar and listen to it from front tail end when it was over I sat there with tears coming down my face that's how just not the music but the atmosphere of how the album sounded to me like all the time that they put into it every little sound was perfect it was great and extremely well along with its video I can go on forever I'm hoping to see them here in August in Ridgefield Oregon McMenamins oh my God the beer is so good my drummers wife works there so hopefully I get some VIP 😎

I bought the Changes DVD when it was just released which is where this is from my freshmen year of highschool and it's been on everyone of my playlists and CD's ever since.
Though I think there are more jokes about bassists then drummers.
