Taman Connaught is such a great market! We haven't been to here yet since we've come to Malaysia, but when I've been before it has been such a blast! You only get a quarter of the way up and you're full already 😂
the glass noodle sausage, you eat them with raw cabbage and raw chilli's !! as for the bang mi, the bang mi is the only good thing the Vietnamese have, the rest of their food is crap, you will see if you goto vietnam
Russian girl collapsing? It is hot on the street because people are cooking left and right. The weather is hot as well. Yes drink water and a bit of sugared drink is good too.
When you're in Malaysia, try to keep hydrated at all times. By the way, drinking water here is so cheap, too. So, there is no reason for anyone to be thirsty or suffering from a heat stroke. Lol😅
Next, i suggest you all go to.. Jalan T.A.R Night Market near by Masjid India n very interesting!!! Here easily you can find Halal Malay's food or dishes!!!
so glad you are venturing outside KLCC.. both of you should go and checkout other distant suburb.. that Connaught garden night market is such a long way from KLCC.. really appreciate your effort.. the further out you go.. the more interesting it gets..
If you find seller at night market, padestrian, near any famous places, these people are immigrat from state around Msia such as Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Myanmar and few others. They are not Msian at all by if you asked them, they will say other wise. A few tourist met with them than in their video saying that Msian cannot speak English. This is not right. Please call our Tourist Department any where to confirm this matter. We the thru Msian very disappointed with our local government because latting this illigel to build stall around KL untill we cannot claim our VISION 2020 TO BECOME DEVELOPE COUNTRY
Cheers! U explored the 🎉 nite pallete-market; even tasted the Royal Thai dessert, 'banh-mi' an Asian fusion bread/loaf [ vietamese-french- kaizer-bagel] with an amazing " colonial- connaught-contempo"M'sian-homemade street-delicatessen!wonderful, yet daringly eccentric ❤❤ it!
Wednesday only in Taman Connaught.. then there is one in other areas in any given day in KL... You can't go wrong with food on a stick! When we didn't have Malls, night market were our original Malls.... Everything from around SEA... Truly Asia Malaysia... Malaysia truly Asia...
How'd you feel about eating street food for those non-familiar with Malaysian spices or SE Asian spices? I'm traveling to Malaysia in January with friends, and frankly there are some coming with us that I am slightly concerned for their sensitive stomachs. Do you have recommendations on how to discern good vendors from another? Or how to ease their cautions with eating street food? I know SE Asian culture is all about the street food! So I don't want them missing out because they're afraid of getting sick. (Though, disclaimer, I did have a bad encounter when I was in India... that lasted a few days.... >.>)
Also, how long would you suggest to stay in KL? I read that this night market only happens on Wednesdays! But we're planning to use KL as a base (traveling to Georgetown & Langkawi) and then coming back to KL near the weekend.
The best practice for street vendors is to go only to the ones that are really busy. The busier the vendor, the more likely you’ll get fresh food and not leftovers from yesterday. Also, make sure to just ask them to make the food extra hot temperature wise. We got very sick in India too! Stay away from ice, fresh fruit and vegetables and they should be totally fine. 🙏 We stayed in KL for 1 month and it’s a fantastic city with a lot to see. We highly recommend Melaka too! Exploring and using KL as a base is a great idea 💡
Waw guys thanks for sharing 😊 you at the longest night market😮 so many food, drinks fruits & everything you needed 🥝🥓🥩🍗🧇🥞🥯🥨🌯 just enjoy since you guys around .have nice weekend ⚘️⚘️
