Kuala Lumpur has some of the best food in the world.
Today, we are exploring the Pavilion food court in one of Kuala Lumpur's most popular malls. We have to say that Malaysian food is literally some of the best we have ever had in terms of diverse flavours and depth of spice.

This is a good list 👍
Wanna add popular food from Borneo (Sabah n Sarawak): Laksa Sarawak, mee kolok, Latok 👌
Mee goreng mamak is a fried noodle with indian muslim influence. A proper mamak mee goreng will give that slice of calamansi or lime, and the top tier will include some friend dough or tofu in the noodles. Luke, you need to try the roadside nasi lemak buffet sold in the morning for breakfast, wrap in brown paper, banana leave or old news paper. That is more authentic.
Thank you ❤️🙏 can’t wait to try more!
*WELCOME TO MALAYSIA TRULY ASIA ENJOYED....🇲🇾🧡❤️💙💕😍🔺🥰😍💕💙❤️🧡🇲🇾*
You did well with the pronunciations.. bang on! Well done to you both 😊
Thank you 🙏
i love Pandan too. you must try Pandan Layer Cake . wow.... super amazing yummie . keep eating . love to u both
❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you 😊
Hi again guys, if you’re enjoying the more ‘commercialised’ Malaysian foods, wait till you get out to the night markets and hawker food stalls. It is cheaper and more tastier. As for the kueh with the white top, it should have been coconut flavoured with a touch of salt in it. Again, get away from the main city food scene. Thanks again for the video. Sean👍🏼
Yes we are anxiously ready to explore the street markets 🙏🙏🙏
All that food looks fabulous not to mention those good looking desserts. Keep enjoying the flavors of Malaysia
Thank u for this wonderful video n for also showing your tasting d local food, nasi lemak in KL Pavilion food court. Nasi lemak is one of my all time fav Malaysian comfort food.
I also like d stir fried noodles, d Malay or Chinese style, d mamak (Malaysian Indian Muslim) style was my late dad's fav. Char kway teow, my fav too.
Asam laksa is one of Malaysian fav comfort food. Maybe next time u guys try d other laksa like curry laksa, Nyonya laksa, Johor laksa, Sarawak laksa etc.
All d Nyonya kueh r my fav, yummy. Yes, d milky taste comes from coconut cream n milk. Almost all d Nyonya n traditional Malay dessert use coconut.
Nasi Lemak!!!! Wooohooo!
No free table: no matter how normal it is especially all over Asia, it still feels awkward as I stand with food on both hands looking around for anyone who might stand up and I quickly slide in beating 5 other hunters.😅
HOW GOOD IS THE PAVILION FOOD COURT! Such an awesome, diverse selection hey. We miss it! 🥹 Great vlog!
It’s so gooooooood ❤️
Usually the Nyonya pudding based ingredients are rice flour, not gelatin, glad you enjoyed them, have a wonderful time here.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for showing this! While food courts may not have the very best version of dishes, it will be delicious enough for my fam bc with 3 kids we want convenience + variety. Will definitely be eating here with them 👌😎
Hi just to let u know the green and white kueh lapis that u ate, the white layer was not made from eggs but however it is actually made from a coconut milk (white layer) and pandan (green layer). Glad that u both enjoy most of Msia food so far ❤❤
Nasi lemak is coconut rice Luke. You should mix the chilli paste with the anchovies (dried fish) and peanut and eat it with the rice. Glad you enjoyed it
Hello Malaysia for watching beautiful so much.🙏🎊🎉🥰♥️⭐⭐⭐⭐FC.🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
🙏❤️
Happy to see you guys enjoying Malaysian food. By the way Naomi, the tricolor dessert is made of cassava, not sweet potato 😊 Continue to explore the country and trying the diverse types of food...
Thank you so much for your support ❤️
Wow,that nasi lemak looked sooo good !
Hope you had Awesome foods !!! Waiting more from Lovely Luke & Naomi !!!!
Thank you so much ☺️
Another interesting video. Different places different VIBE. Your both food reviews are Amazing, very clear and informative. You both are done well. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from sri lanka❤❤🥰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hello,,,Should try Nasi Lemak Wanjo at Kampong Bahru...Taste fantastic....
อร่อยอีกแล้วเจ้า❤❤❤❤
i love your honest opinion. thumbs up- Malaysian here
You'll love our street foods even more.. 😅
Dried fish = anchovies
Can’t wait to try them 🙏❤️
Mini lime = calamansi
Sir,maam.
Ur comments n views on the food are spot on,especially the heavan part,hahahahaha...
FYI,normally cucumber main task on our food are for relax the spicy and the oily or buttery taste in our mouth after every one or two spoon of it.And also used to make our breath smell better after meal.
Ahah, one more thing, food courts in big mall are very choosy to select thier vendors,so what u got there in the mall, normally as good as outside streetfood too,and im being serious.
Cos,to us Malaysian, food is next to breathing....so very very important...hahahhaa
If you go to Nyonya Colors again, try the kuih kochi.
But frankly, there’s just way too much for you both to explore within 90 days. Befriend a local who loves travelling and knows local dishes well, and you’ll discover Malaysia in a way that’s beyond your expectations!
Go to the durian hubs, and taste the quality ones, for first timers, I’d recommend UDANG MERAH (for a sweeter note) and MUSANG KING (which has a slight bitter note). And if you don’t end up being durian fans, at least you’d have tried them lol😊
Malaysia is not shy about flavour...
Yes Malaysian parents love took family members together to eat outside and window shoppung when they are on leaved on Saturday and Sunday.😊😊😊
since you started to liking rice dishes, then i would like to suggest you try our local malay dishes called 'nasi dagang' and 'nasi kerabu'..you may get it in a place called Kampung Bharu..take care and enjoy what Malaysia may offer both of you
Thanks for the tips!
Yes the rice tastes buttery because its cooked in coconut milk. The small fish is callled anchovies. The sauce is called sambal.
🙏🙏❤️❤️
Haha you should try Malaysian KFC!! It's the best!! And also Mcdonald's Malaysia!! If you have the chance do try the packet nasi lemak, Malaysians eat this for breakfast!
Oh wow, we will add them to our list ❤️☺️
THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE COMPLIMENTS OF OUR FOOD
very delicious local food.hope u guys will like it
คุณสองคนใจร้ายมาก ทำให้ฉันตื่นมาก็หิวเลย 😂😂😂😂😂🌷🌷🌷❤️❤️❤️❤️
The simplest local food and the top list is Satay and roti canai, it always gets positive views from visitors.
❤️🙏
Very 'brave' couple !! .. 😎 .. I simply love Asam Laksa, with a big glass of plain cold water. 😀
Thank you so much 😊
Please try nasi kerabu, nasi ayam, lontong, mee rebus, satay, chendol Ice kacang aka ABC, not forgetting the Ramly Burgers..👍😋
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nasi lemak will taste if you choose curry chicken or non-fried chicken compliment dish.😋😋😋
Oh thank you 🙏
Wow wow wow wow wow. I am so salivating. Yum yum yum yum yummy yummy yummy 😋🤤
☺️☺️
Nice nice ❤❤ miss that lovely fooddddyyyyy
❤️🙏
You know what to eat n how to eat , enjoy the food here . maybe asam laksa is a bit heavy , try curry laksa
try Hutong lot 10 food court , you like ( not far from here about 10 min walk )
A lot of love❤
🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊
as i would like to advice to any tourist that come to malaysia, buy food from the stall on the side of the road or small restaurant..and you will taste the truly malaysian food..
My favorite country is italy if they can make a video in that country , thank you so much ❤
Food looks good ❤
❤️❤️
Nasi lemak, our national treasure and comfort food, char kuay tiao and asam laksa too, our national treasure and comfort food.
Delicious 🤤
WELCOME ofU2 next be in PENANG 😉😃✌
Terima Kasih ❤️🙏
🤤
welcome to Malaysia ❤
You make me hungry at Midnight. I am hungry now.😆
The citrus on your mee goreng mamak are calamansi. The fragrant cousin of the lime.
So good 😊
U read that char kuey teow correctly. The street food version is another level if they use charcoal and wok flavour.
🙏🙏
You are the first Europeans eating correctly using spoon (not fork !)
Thank you 🙏 we did our research 🇲🇾❤️
They are the best aren't they?
Welcome to Malaysia.
❤️🙏🇲🇾
😁
in malaysia if the plc is full you can ask to share table if there is empty seat.most of we malaysian accept t in sharing table
Thanks for the info!🙏
Dessert here is very heavy like launch menu 🤣
Ya. It's hard to find free table but you guys may opt for sharing the table by asking diners. Cheers
Cheers! Thank you for watching our video Micaiah 😊
You shod try the Nyonya tapioca cake
9:10 Penang my place 😅
Today you correctly ate malaysian food
Thank you so much 😊
Remember , rice is not a stand alone food, must be eaten together with meats or/and vegetables . Mixed them with the gravy or sambal in one spoon . Eating rice by itself is like eating spaghetti without sauce or gravy . I never see anyone who tastes their pasta alone first then slurping the gravy alone afterwards . Mixed everything on the plate eat it in a single scoop of spoon everytime. Each single item on plate is a complement to each other if eaten together.
Most popular dish in malaysia
So delicious 😋
u guys sure can eat a lot!😂😂😂
if the food is hot and spicy you can request for less spicy.they will pul less chilly paste in the food b4 it was cooked
We love spicy ❤️
Malaysian 🇲🇾 food should be tried at street stall. Malaysian 🇲🇾 food in Malls had been modified specially for visitors which is less spicy lovers
We will try ❤️😊🇲🇾
Ideally the fish inside the Assam Laksa should be sardines.
Get the Malaysia must- eat Ramly burger. Go for the Double beef cheese special -> Get ready for a mad / food koma session after eating 2 burgers .
May the fat, b with y'all,alwiz....
Sounds amazing!! Thank you Sean ❤️
Mamat mee goreng is the base
interessant Guten Appetit 👍 🤯
🙏❤️
Mackerel fish I think
No worries Luke! Because you will be walking a lot right? Unless you just lazily go to bed after eating 😅
Absolutely hahaha
7.5 to 8.5 is a fair score trying it first time.
I know that is not a good specimen to my standard.
There are far nicer nasi lemak all over the country 😂😂😂
😂❤️❤️❤️
Nasi Lemak actually do not have pickles. Maybe thats the shop interpretation of nasi lemak.
Lapis means layered
🙏🙏🙏
The best souvenir you can get in Malaysia for yourself is....weight gain!!😄
😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
Try butter chicken
Generally you just have to mix everything on the plate/bowl before consuming.
🙏☺️
Not necessarily. Depends on your preference and also to avoid spiciness
@@norhadzirahramli74 tu pasal I said generally and not compulsory/must 😅
I like nasi dagang more..batter.. Nxt is nasi nasi briyani.. Hahaha...how about local fruits..mangosteen..ramvutan n durian? Your first attempt in trying durian maybe horrible..but once u get uswd to you ll love it..albeit the strong pungent smell..
❤️❤️❤️
I eas like yelling inside... do the sambal...do the sambal...
THE FISH IS NORMALLY MCKEREL
We wish you could show the entire scene when you are eating, that includes your dish, the way you pick up the food and the whole view when you are eating, not just your face.
There are a lot of edible food around, it's natural that some suit your taste, while some are not at all. No need to be apologetic.
Thank you for watching Carlos :)
Wah, the nasi lemak is very delicious, welcome to Malaysia and Pavilion, anyway may I know which country are you from
Thank you for watching!
We are from Ireland 🇮🇪 and Germany 🇩🇪
Your nasi lemak is not very good. Try to go to Park Village to try our their nasi lemak. You will fall in love with their fried chicken. The beef rendang also very good.
Don't put other people dish down ("not very good") to promote your favourite, its maybe good to your tastebuds but not to others.
White is coconut milk
🙏🤤
SHOULD BE PINEAPPLE IN IT
ur at the wrong place...yes theses malays food at the mall probably good..but mostly are "fancy malay cuisine". Must try the OGs...they are mostly just small shops / hawkers on the streets...
That does not look like authentic nasi lemak to me.....anyway the only way to eat it is to mix three or more of the ingredients in a scoop, not eating each items separately.
Malaysian food is much superior to many more famous cuisines.
Agree!
I look too you Tiger
🐅
It is not sweet potato. It is cassava / tapioca
🙏🙏🙏
hi there you 2.
i think you must missing thsi food actually.
You pronounced acccurately
Thank you 🙏 😊😊
Foreigner saying wow to an ordinary nasi goreng and malaysian saying wow to ordinary western steak. 😅
😂🙏
Chilli can be use as a chemical weapon...ha ha ha lol

I hated asam laksa..... heavy tamarid flavour
GOD !!!!! PLEASE STOP DOING FOOD REVIEWS !!!! both my wife and i are sitting on the lounge with our mouths drooling !! IT WILL BE YOUR FAULT !!! if we are forced to buy plane tickets to Malaysia !!! to eat like animals and put on all of the weight we have lost over the last 12 months !! and the best food court we found is at the bus terminal which is up stairs in kuala lumpur
😆😆👏🏼👏🏼❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for watching
Y not? 😂
