Hi Les, another excellent video so thank you. The lengthy Carstairs blockade starts soon and presumably most if not all the Anglo Scottish freight will be diverted via the ECML so less variety at Carlisle for you to capture. However I expect there will be plenty of interesting stuff on the GSW route for you to cover.

Thanks. We shall see what happens with Carstairs. DB and DRS have been getting familiar with the Sou Western but some will be doing the east coast

@@LeslieGilpinRailways I think Avanti will be going via the GSW but I'm not sure about TPE. There were thoughts of them turning round at Lockerbie but I'm not sure what the situation is now.

@@LeslieGilpinRailways I've just had a look on Real Time Trains at what's going via Annan on 8th March and there seems to be quite a lot of freight going via the GSW so things might not be too bad after all. One interesting schedule was for a diverted Royal Mail service presumably diesel hauled 325 units which would be a novel catch for you Les
