Thanks Tom for another excellent video, the quality of the contents and editing is exceptional. Great video, great location and who doesn't love a filthy dirty PCA wagon !
Thanks for dropping by Andy. Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be uploading a lot more footage of my recent trip away. Probably have enough footage for another 10 videos.
Great video thanks. Not the healthiest EE1 I've seen or heard. Have they been 'eco' tinkering with it? No turbo charger and only one bank of exhaust? Is it only a 500 hp shunter now?
Quietest Chopper I've ever heard ... spectacular footage 👌
Aye, I think they've dampened down the noise for some reason. Maybe they don't want to upset the neighbours.
@@NorthumberlandSnapperyes exactly the reason, they get many complaints from the locals

Thanks very much Ian. I am glad you find these worthwhile viewing.
Nice to see the Diesel version of Henry in action

Glad you found it worthwhile viewing. Thanks for dropping by.
I live not too far away from here and I have to say that working on the Earles cement shunter would be my dream job
Might get a bit repetitive mind you.
You would be certainly busy ahah
great video again tom great to see the class 20 still working well but still smoking a bit too
Many thanks Denis.

Glad to see you were watching so closely!
Great video but what the hell have they done to that 20, it should be chopping and whistling away ?
Someone else mentioned that too. Not sure what they've done.
@@NorthumberlandSnapper Exhaust silencer fitted. I think UK railfans seem to prefer English Electric to Sulzer...
They fitted a silencer due to complaints

Not sure about that, but one of the Freightliner guys did tell me it was crap.
Sounds like the turbocharger is running when the locomotive sets off at 11:35?
For all the people wandering hope
Works fitted a silencer because they get complains from locals
Some people...
