    Purchasing a 5k mile 2015 from a senior rider today. I'm no longer into 120+ hp bikes at 47 years old and this seems like a great utility bike.

    Great review!!! If you’ve never met this gentleman, he is a Great guy, loves to talk motorcycles and is Very Helpful. His wealth of knowledge about the whole subject of motorcycling is second to none.
    He is not biased to any particular bikes, he gives you the honest truth.
    I have talked to him several times regarding my next bike and he was Very Helpful even if I wasn’t buying a bike from him. He isn’t a typical salesman that’s only interested in talking to you if money is involved, he’s a Genuinely Nice Person whose happy to help whether he’s getting paid or not. Very Classy Guy!!’

    At 71 I'm looking for a motorcycle that will mellow me out. I have been unable to accomplish this mentally. An absolutely great review! The best I've ever watched. I'm torn between this bike and a BMW S1000R. A choice between what I want and what I need.

      They can both be ridden hard, sometimes it takes a completely different experience to change our perspective on riding. For instance a scooter, stick with me, can help because you end up taking all the back roads and long way, because you can not go fast... After time you start to look for the long way and eventually stop ringing the neck of the little scooter. Ok maybe not the last part lol! Also a cruiser style ride can do a similar thing because your cornering is limited and the breaks suck LoL. Still some bikes just bring out the hooligan in me, I now steer clear of those and try to enjoy the back way as much as possible!
      Good luck!

    Ok just bought a 2015 with 1400 miles on it wondering what bars you have I am similar in birthright to you thanks for any advice

    • @TRCAdventures
      @TRCAdventures  11 місяців тому

      I don't remember what exact bars were on that bike, I have found that the pro taper Evo adventure works quite well, much better than stock for me as the stock bars are a bit narrow and force your elbows down and in. If you find the bars, you get a bit too wide, they can be cut down and most bars have marks for cutting points so you can easily keep them equal length.
      You may also find you have to change the routing of cables to ensure there is no binding when you turn the bars left to right as they are quite a bit wider than stock, easy to do just need to make sure you have a free moving bar before you take it out for a ride!
