    I use your Soft Velvet Cleansing Oil to remove eye makeup and it works fabulously! But I will definitely give this a go. That gel consistency looks heavenly, and I have some of the MC Polyamide 3 so yaay!

    OMGOSH I Love the Jelly-ness!!! Fun fact; I fell in love with a Garnier moisturizer that had a jelly texture, I then started a quest to create a “mature” skin (I prefer mature over aging lol) eye/facial serum. In that quest, lots of research and then some you tube I found you! And you’ve now made an AMAZING makeup removing Jelly (Gel) Oil Cleanser! Wooohooo 🥳 I can’t wait to make it!!! And more so share with my younger daughter as she is an amazing makeup artist unofficially.. but she will love this too! As always thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise, years of experience and soooo much helpful awesome information!!!! Heading to your website now! Well first the blog on this then the website.😆☮️💟

    I'm in love with this discovery & I keep returning to this recipe over & over with new Ideas. I had a few substitution questions not covered in the blog:
    Cranberry seed oil: Is it not advisable to use cranberry seed oil around the eyes in the same way that essential oils & fragrance oils aren't? I'd like to impart a refreshing & juicy, but safe, non-irritating scent. I know every bottle is different, but at what percentage should I start with to let the smell come through if I wanted to keep it at a frugal/affordable minimum? Of course this would be a safflower sub
    Additional esters instead of lightweight oils: could I replace the remainder of safflower oil with a lightweight ester like additional C12-15 alkyl benzoate, caprylic capric triglycerides, or isopropyl myristate instead of an oil? I'm especially enamored by the velvety skin feel & cleansing power IPM has to offer, but idk if it would sweat out of the polyamide or otherwise be unstable. I'm looking for an ultra lightweight, unexpected feel for a jiggly oily gel. This of course doesn't touch the existing C12-15 alkyl benzoate in the formula, it's strictly a safflower sub
    Conditioning agent: could I add behentrimonium chloride's cationic goodness with the polyamide as it's only stabilizer? Would it affect the opacity or cleansing performance? This question might be too advanced for me, but my mind went there; I like the idea of a full body multipurpose hair/scalp cleanser, make-up remover, body massage oil wash, with conditioning properties

    Hi I watched this a couple of times and can’t tell if this rinses off well with just water or if you have to rub it off with a cloth… TY!

    Thank you so much for this,i would def like to add botanical extracts to this,say horse chestnut or honey suckle,can i just add the extract at cool down phase,whilst reducing the carrier oils percentages to fit in the extracts pls? Also I believe none of this need ph testing at the end of formulating as it’s all oil soluble?? Thank you x

    Would I be able to use fragrance oil (and remove a fraction of a certain oil...I'm not sure which one) if I wanted to make it a body oil product?

      If you want to make a body oil I'd recommend checking out my recent body shimmer oil-this wouldn't be my first choice of a formulation to turn into a body oil. Happy making!

    Where do I find the ingredients?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  2 роки тому

      I always link all the ingredients for any given formulation in the blog post, which is linked in the description box below the video (that's one of the many reasons I highly suggest reading the blog post as well as watching the video! If you're not sure what I mean by the "description box", read this: www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/whats-the-description-box-on-youtube/.).
      Sometimes those links break because they're always off-site links, or sometimes the store I've linked to isn't in your country. That's why I also have a giant page of places to shop all over the world, which you can find here: www.humblebeeandme.com/resources/. It doesn't have every country in the world, but it does contain all the online stores I know about. If your country isn't listed, that's because I don't know about any online stores in your country. You could try looking for a local Facebook group for people who like making soap & other cosmetics-they may be able to recommend places to shop.
      And for some more discussion on ingredients, I recommend these FAQs:

    Why do things with chemicals when you can get the same thing with sucragel ( I don't know the brand in canada, but it is an emulsifier based on lemon/orange peel and sugar). In France Aroma-Zone sells it under the commercial name "gelisucre".
    As soon as the gel touches water, it melts into a soft milk, very easily rincable. And of coutse it removes perfectly on waterproof make up

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  2 роки тому +10

      1) I have done this with sucragel, all the way back in 2018. It's linked in the blog post.
      2) Everything is chemicals ;) Even sucragel!
