- You heard right! Rim World Finally has multiplayer with steam join support. All this is possible using this amazing mod. Please note I do not Support the sacrificing of colonist to cave bugs this was merely a test of sorts....

um so i need heaters for the caskets? welp i kinda overheated things and its on 2000celsius i dunno i just heard you guys talk about heaters and filled the room with the caskets

Joselito Sacdalan you can overheat them with stockpiles of wood too. No need for steel or electricity. Just set the wood on fire, build the wall back, and be ready to repair any walls they try to break out.

so question i saw that you could like settle a pawn in a different area effectivly making two colonies how does that work with time skip because that would be cool for each friend to have there own but would time be out of sync or is it like a vote system for type skip
You go into options and increase the number on the scale to 5 so you can have 5 colonies and that's it.
i downloaded this mod and get no multiplayer icon on my main page ingame ?! can someone help me?!

Can you play as separate colonies? if so, how?
I would imagine if you settled a second colony as normal, you could just split attention between players. It 'might' work well.
@@Musabre my friend and I did it; works like a charm. Super fun, in that, you can work independently, but also, you can send supplies over and help with missions etc
@@TelosBudo That's good to hear! How do you set it up though? DO you need to begin normally and then send a few guys to the world map to form the second colony?
@@Musabre In the main options at the title screen, change the maximum number of active colonies to more than 1. Make sure you have enough colonist for two settlements. send one group away and settle a colony alteast one hexagon apart. Have fun!
Making more than 2 colonies creates frequent latency issues and desyncs. For now, 2 colonies on multiplayer seems to be the limit.
