Lol. Paolo is very underrated. Holds down the groove, does very interesting things, especially in Becoming The Dragon and Incineration. He’s not one of those guys who just follows the guitar.
It made you cry seriously? How un-metal lol. All joking aside I've been a fan of Trivium's since pretty much their inception. I seen Trivium in 2003/2004 @Harpos in Detroit when they were like 17/18yrs old opening for Children Of Bodom & Amon Amarth. They looked so young on stage back then, especially Paulo who had his hair just past his ears lol. Paulo needs to grow it long again imo,he looks like a dildo with ears now LoL, maybe David Draiman told him to since he produces them on the last few records lol.
I enjoy the Goofy moments you guys have and the sort of relationship between the band members it feels like a hobby rather than a job from my prospective you guys do what you like, like what you do. And that's all i wanna see really
Gotta disagree with you both lol, when the first one played I thought "that sounds way too happy for someone screaming betrayal, I really hope that's a harmony" so when the second snippet played with the melody line underneath it, I thought it sounded much better
I pre- ordered The Sin And The Sentence Boxset + T-Shirt thing on their website a couple weeks ago. I can't wait to get it. Trivium is awesome and I hope they keep Alex Bent.
Alex is a total beast behind the drums, if he isn't a new "staying" member of the band... His successor will have to be quite awesome too xD Let's see, what this album is like... For me, I don't know if anything can top In Waves... It's perfect 👌 P.S. Also forgot to say, that if others don't shut Alex up, they'll never get a chance to speak again... 🤐
"Practice. be prepared and ready".. .Nothing comes for nothing..this guys are the prove! They work hard..and they make it! This album is just amazing...! Thunder roaring drums and guitars, greatest Matt vocals, and nicest harmonies from them ever..including neoclassic new ideas in some songs =) Lyrics are very straight to the point, tough but real, and I notice the some "cult" language too, really best Trivium ! I can´t stop listening to it!
BETRAAAAYEEERRRRR!!!!! Damn i totally cant wait for the new album! So fuckin excited to see you guys in December also! Got my ticket and VIP ready! TRIVIUM! TRIVIUM! TRIVIUM!
So good to see Trivium having fun in the studio again and making more of a light hearted 'Making Of' documentary. In Waves, Vengeance Falls, Silence in the Snow videos we're cool, artsy whatever, but they lacked the happiness and character that the Shogun video did, which by the way I can't find anywhere online. Would someone care to link me?
Ill always be a fan of trivium even when im old ass fuck same with bullet for my Valentine and any given day also avatar and metalica and as i lay dying \m/\m/
danyjoms13 I enjoyed their less serious side. Aside from the issue with Travis, the making of Shogun seemed fun, colorful and goofing around big time. Now they're a bit serious and usually filmed black and white.... why? Get color in fellas.
Xzviur Azai I wish I could find The making of Shogun SOMEWHERE. I got it with the album back in 08, but obviously it's been lost in the past decade. #thenose
Brian Sitton I scoured the internet for it and found it on some dodgy Russian site... But agree it's the best album documentary of theirs. They were so much more laid back, it was legit as if a cameraman just followed them into the studio rather than having set camera times or whatever. I mean, didn't the doco start with them drunk at a bar? Lol
I like how at 4:20 (lol) they're talking about having fun and all being great and the board behing Paolo says "Guitar Fix! DON'T FUCKING FORGET!" I mean, are you sure...? LOL
Yessir, good vibes help clear the mind, help us operate at the frequencies we want/need to, and they allow us to focus our energy into resonating within harmony/time/space. It may seem counter intuitive for the genre, or subject matter sometimes, but there's no doubt that we humans always perform better when we feel good. Who would've thought? Lol. What we all eventually learn one way or another, is that balance is key. How can one express such rage, or aggression in a positive fashion? It's a state of mind, really. Good and evil both come in many forms, and I'm not entirely sure why my comment has headed in this direction. I merely wanted to share a philosophical thought or two, and here I am, several run-on sentences later, babbling on about the constant war that is waged by forces beyond our comprehension within each and every one of us, each and every day, thus making the entire concept of reality a question in and of itself. What is anything? We all struggle with who we are, yet furthermore, and what I believe to be of more importance, why we are. I know one thing for sure though: The entirety of Trivium is amazing- and also sick af, in my opinion. Rock on.
Darcel needs to view any complaint and/or comments about Texas chainsaw massacre or Roadhouse or perhaps captivity maybe all the saw movies as they do need a better understanding of anything involving enslavement unjustified loss on any level from themselves
This might be just growing up and getting mature, but I really miss the times when they were not super experienced music connoisseurs but just normal dudes. The music seemed to be better when they were more down-to-earth. Don't bash me, I'm a huge fan too.
Apomorph it's really just cause they have a better understanding of music and what they want to make. When you understand what you're doing, you're able to pull the ideas out of your head and lay it out on the record.
The guys: "So what did you get up to this week".
Corey: "there was this guy who stabbed his roommate with a sword."
No context Corey
Former Power Rangers - where are they now
Strong opening line from Corey
Love watching their creative process, it's really inspiring.
In Waves is my favourite album, but I love how Trivium try different things every album. I like the obvious passion and creativity
That moment when you squeeze the earphone in your ear and try to extract every single part from the new songs. (Ep. 2)
Exactly
The new Trivium video came, so have I
Coreys neck is close to rivaling Corpsegrinder...
I agree with the drummer
cory is starting to look more and more like steven segal, lol.
Thats exactly what i thought XD!!!!!!
He is starting to know "what it takes to change the essence of a man" (Steven Seagal, On Deadly Ground). Lol
He reminds me more of Mick Thomson of Slipknot just without the glasses.
classic dude!!
Joe Lozano 😂😂🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️maybe he is son of steven 😂😂🤣
A bass player changing their strings... What is this sorcery??!!!!
Epeirogenesis Always keep your eyes open for bassists that violate rule #2. They’re the keepers.
Lol. Paolo is very underrated. Holds down the groove, does very interesting things, especially in Becoming The Dragon and Incineration. He’s not one of those guys who just follows the guitar.
This album is gonna be absolutely incredible!
connor Eidson dont worry dude the stupid little troll is ranting on other comments about his fleshgod apocalypse, guess now hes going for nile lol
Loren P lol
WhoDarestheMAN gamer don’t mind this troll Loren just let him look stupid
Trivium is a very "healthy" band. Salad and water for lunch/dinner. Many other metal band eaten junk food and drinking beer :-D
Oliver Heuschele that's Matt for ya. He's a huge food guy
Corey isn't healthy at all
Smoker too
Betraaaaayyerrrr... I have to be honest, this made me cry because of how happy I am after hearing this :'(
It made you cry seriously? How un-metal lol. All joking aside I've been a fan of Trivium's since pretty much their inception. Paolo, not Paulo lol xD
ye! super stoked! but i dont like that matt using his old sceaming technique in the studio and doing his new ''frog'' style live
It sounds like you breakdown to metal often. ;)
eeeh what?
so pumped
What are you doing here ?
Indeimaus So fucking pupped. Btw top 10 enemy crotches in dks plz
Whoa it’s indeimaus

Bro I didn’t know you like trivium, fucking awesome
God, that gunshot soundclip at 2:30
Yea, someone else noticed!
Yeeersssssss
During a Q&A with Matt he is seriously considering an acoustic version of all his songs.
Makes sense he's been playing a lot of acoustic lately.
Dao Yang omg seriously?
Actually made me smile like a kid at christmas when I heard that
0:19 never thought i would EVER hear Trivium talk about Power Rangers \m/
I like how Alex is sitting at the table like the neighbor's kid waiting for his turn for playing with the computer.
I enjoy the Goofy moments you guys have and the sort of relationship between the band members it feels like a hobby rather than a job from my prospective
you guys do what you like, like what you do.
And that's all i wanna see really
5:59 - 6:21 made me jump out of my seat. holy shit i can`t wait for this one! :D
Dude, did you comment before you finished watching? There is a better snippet of that song right at the end :)
yeah but the first one made me jump out of my seat :D i was ready for the end tho :D
Me too, but the snippet at the end somehow sounded less good. Can't wait to hear the full song though
I just finished work at 12am and come home and see this in my sub box
everything is right in the world
I can't wait for this album!!!! Love y'all, thank you for awesome music
Nothing beats getting an inside look at a band. Love all of these videos.
You know its a trivium doc if its in black and white
Alex is a total beast behind the drums, if he isn't a new "staying" member of the band... His successor will have to be quite awesome too xD Let's see, what this album is like... For me, I don't know if anything can top In Waves... It's perfect 👌
P.S. Also forgot to say, that if others don't shut Alex up, they'll never get a chance to speak again... 🤐
the best producers are the ones that you can feel their passion for recording radiate from them.
0:19 I can't believe these guys are actually talking about the power rangers HAHAHAHAHAH OMG that made my year
"Practice. be prepared and ready"..
.Nothing comes for nothing..this guys are the prove!
They work hard..and they make it!
This album is just amazing...!
Thunder roaring drums and guitars, greatest Matt vocals, and nicest harmonies from them ever..including neoclassic new ideas in some songs =)
Lyrics are very straight to the point, tough but real, and I notice the some "cult" language too, really best Trivium !
I can´t stop listening to it!

i love how Matt and Paolo speak really wisely.
“We’ll do uuuhhhhh....”
Matt: cooing
Good lord I can't wait for this album and I absolutely cannot wait for the Trivium Arch Enemy tour!
I love watching this stuff. Wish I could find that older Shogun documentary, that shit was amazing.
There's a whole series for the making of shogun. Came with the album. Should be on UA-cam.
unfortunately the thing in its entirety is nowhere to be found. I used to have the physical dvd copy but it's lost to time v_v

I can't be the only one who got their ears blasted at 5:59
It's funny how they keep doing the same kind of documentary since In waves xD
danyjoms13 I enjoyed their less serious side. Aside from the issue with Travis, the making of Shogun seemed fun, colorful and goofing around big time. Now they're a bit serious and usually filmed black and white.... why? Get color in fellas.
That has MKH's paws all over it.
kitramsey5150 hehe

Having heard that little bit of Gunshot acoustic, I really want an acoustic Trivium album.
Awesome! My expectations are going to be so high by 0ct. 20. These videos are fucking great and the small clips sounds sick!! Early release???
The solo at 6:01 sounds SO happy without the harmony LOL
This reminds me of the cut scenes in 'MuDvAyNe Live in Peoria'
Well enjoyed Trivium thank you
5:59 was that Heafy sreamin´ holy fucking shit finally!!!!so happy

TRIVIUM NEVER STOP TO MAKE MY YEARS FUCKING EXPLODE THANK YOU MATT PAOLO COREY AND ALEX FOR KEEP METAL INDUSTRIES FOREVER

At least someone, Poalo admitted they're a heavy, rock band now.
'A String??'
'Oh...yeah sorry.'
Matt is just so goofy.
Really hoping Trivium are going to be heavy again. Can't wait to hear gunshot part 2
I can't wait
2:30 A Gunshot!!!!!

What's going on at 4:48???
Super Matt)))))))))))))))))
When the fuck did Trivium recruit Mick Thomson?!?!
Paulo you're as clever as the meme machine that you truely are xd
This is so fucking cool
Corey casually talking about a dude killing his roommate with a sword.
IT BETTER BE FUCKING GOOD
Darcel needs to view any complaint and/or comments about Texas chainsaw massacre or Roadhouse or perhaps captivity maybe all the saw movies as they do need a better understanding of anything involving enslavement unjustified loss on any level from themselves
What's going at 4:48? Is it like a group screamo? Lol
Paolo changes strings? Rare sight being a bassist lol
