This album was extremely well produced i am not saying the older stuff is bad I am just saying the guitars sound huge and drums sound fat and everything sounds really tight
There is definitely a "clarity" to it, guitars are pushed forward with more separation compared to The Powerless Rise, I also think it is a tad less compressed. A lot of engineers on Awakened.
All of their Albums have been great, but man....Awakened was another level....it feels like the only album where the whole album is in favorite list....no song needs skipping ever....and I think it can make a normal music lover love Metal Core ....

I dunno man, really hard choice between that, whispering silence solo and no lungs to breathe solo. What an epic couple of solos to be sandwiched between on the album and it definitely holds it own.
I feel they will get back together. they work great all in the band. all of them are professional musicians and work hard to fine tune aild sound. Awakened I agree was a huge move forward and still to this day blows me away when I listen to it from start to finish. I would like for them to continue putting out records despite what Tim has done. I know his absence lead them to form wovenwar and they got to survive too. But time has passed now and they need to make amends and get back in the studio. Love this band!

It really was an amazing production, the way some of those bass lines come through in the songs is freaking amazing

Tim ruined everything. Awakened was the beginning of the next chapter for this band. A talented band with so much ahead of them.
Also super disappointed. At least everything they did was awesome and it wasn't just one era. We got a decent number of tunes to enjoy.
It's equally as heartbreaking as Anterior stopping after Echoes of the Fallen :(
