Hi! I LOVE this! This is so great to see you follow a master groomer - I've never seen this cut before, how amazing ! I found your channel (liked and subscribed to you) by watching your grooming brushes vid and just watched your comb attatchment video this morning. 1 inch guard comb or hand scissor.
And what size blade please. Her hair is over 5” long.

Horrible owners! Any person who lets a dog get in such a shape has no business owning a dog! BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL CUT❤
Unpopular opinion, but as a groomer I think you put that dog through too much unnecessary discomfort. Comfort before vanity is my motto. Also dog owners will just learn that it doesn’t matter if their dog is matted, the groomer will sort it out. Meanwhile the dog is walking around with mats that are pulling painfully at their skin, then go to a groomer who is brushing the crap out of them. I personally found this hard to watch. Yes the final result looks nice but I would have shaved her down and told the owner we need to start over, come back in 4 weeks and we can start to accomplish the look you want.
I agree with you 100% Suzanne said the dog never returned so you are right… the owner does not mind the dog wearing mats:(

What are mats
Tangled hair that becomes a lump of tanged hair that is hard to brush out. Painful to the dog if not approached properly.
@@GoGroomer thank you my dog has short fur but my little cousin she lives with me but she got a dog with long fur last year so Lucy definitely has mats

Ellos tienen k ser libres, no estoy de acuerdo con la estética para perros le quitan su estilo natural, ellos no nececitan champoo ni perfume spray, le hacen daño a su PH NATURAL, cepillarlos bien desde la cabeza hasta la espalda y después los extremos, de ahí, después peinarlo para que su pelaje quede bello y por último con una tela de gamuza o terciopelo darle un masaje de la cabeza hasta la espalda de manera delicada y luego los extremos queda con un brillo maravilloso y natural sin malograr su PH y olor NATURAL, nada de estética para los PERRITOS por favor de ahi es donde vienen las alergias u otras molestias, quieran a sus perros no al abuso de la estética es hacerles daño

I like Suzanne's grooming but not so much here with the dematting. why not just go shorter? The dog was jumping on her arm and moving around while she was being brushed. I take that as a sign of not that comfortable not taking it as wanting to be friends. Good groom but why not just go shorter? that's all I'm saying and less brushing
If people would comb their dogs between groomer visits, mats would not form.
I comb my dogs every single day while watching TV in the evening. 5 minutes! Who doesn't have 5 minutes per dog?

When was she rough? She did a great job, it’s not easy to groom a dog that is moving or that doesn’t like having its nails done.

You are clearly hurting the dog during the nail trimming! Take it easy
Not all dogs are supposed to look like bedlington terriers, that's why we have different breeds. I'm sure the owner was glad to have all the mats removed, but that's the only good thing about this cut. You need to learn to do the proper cut that is consistent with the breed. This was a real hack!

This is the trim the client asked for. He was not disappointed with the results. In fact he was happy and elated upon pick up of Corazon. And that my friend is a complete, successful grooming session for all.
