  • Supercharged V6 vs turbocharged four. Fastest Evora takes on the fastest Focus. With 85bhp more and 250kg less weight the Evora should be quicker but by how much? What's the real-world difference between the two?
    Thanks for watching.

Everything Lotus is interesting. Covid has delayed my purchase of an Evora by a year but I hope to find one in the same color as your 430. Beautiful car!
    Cheers from Alaska!

Thanks, good luck with the search. All Evoras are fantastic driver's cars. This is the only GT430 in the UK in this colour believe it or not. Lotus do lots of slightly different metallic greens but they are all nice. You can't go wrong!

@@DrPittenstein Just bought GT410 Sport in RED. Ultimate driver's buy with some real GT capabilities :-). Great channel to watch when getting ready for Evora.

@@DrPittenstein I bought the last one available as new in the region from a dealer. It was registered but mileage virtually zero. And all guarantees from Lotus plus discount for the forced registration (forced by Emission regulations in 2020). I really feel this car is touching the art-machine territory. Great long term buy, you want to own this and use for many years.

I wonder what the 100-200 kph time of the Evora 430 is? A new 718 Cayman GT4 is 8.6 seconds 100-200kph or 62-124 mph. It would be interesting to see if the Evora 430 is that quick.

Yes would be interesting to see. I'm sure it would be close either way if I get the opportunity I will time it. GT430 makes a lot more downforce than a Cayman GT4 so that will mean increasing drag past 100mph which is when you can feel it working. An Evora 430 without the aero would be slightly quicker than mine.

@@DrPittenstein hey there 👋 thanks for replying! If you get the opportunity that would be awesome👏 I know that’s not what these cars are really built for but at the same time it never hurts to try 🤷‍♂️ haha

Anyone willing to time an Evora 400 between 30-100mph or even 30-70mph? Be interested to see what it would do.

I would time GT410 Sport for comparison when engine running in done.

@@ghostridertom it would be interesting, a GT410 Sport would be very close I’m sure. I picked a rolling start interval for the sake of the clutch. As I’m still waiting to launch any car from 0-60mph I don’t consider it a very relevant yardstick. Often misleading too as depends hugely on gearing.
