What adapter plate do you have to pair the cummins to the 4 speed? I got a 84 chevy i want to take a cummins and put in it but I want it to look original
@@primoprimo7547 haha right on! I don’t suppose it makes much difference on road or even off road, I’ve seen military hummers that wear them backwards like that as well
@@primoprimo7547 I've got a 4bt with the Chevy adaptor/flywheel for sm465. My K5 is a th400 behind a 6.2l diesel. I don't want to use the mid mount motor mounts off of summit, so which ones did you end up going with? Also did you buy aftermarket adapter to avoid the motor lean? Was it easier/cheaper to go with the NV4500 on your k30? Also, where did you purchase AC bracket and pump? Edit:. I'm trying to decide staying with th400 is more economical than just buying a 4x4 Dodge nv4500. I'm running 3.08 gears.
The ac bracket place has closed down. No the nv4500 is not cheaper. I just got lucky from a friend with the setup. As far as motor lean I customized the engine mounts and have transmission and transfer case tilted some to make up for lean.
I have a friend who used the brackets from a Dodge 6BT on his. Was in a Jeep but now in F150 due to deer incident. Used a Chevy 5 speed. Where do you find the engines? They seem to be rare in NE TN.
4bt k10 daily! I love it!
Like those running boards
Well that truck still looks good im Glade you are going to try and use both tanks
Beautiful truck!
They take real good care of me
I have gm p30 4bt adapter plate on both of them.

Great truck, What gear and tires sizes ?
4.10 on 37 military tires

I’m doing the same to my Chevy. Do u know what pilot bearing that I need I can’t find. Have the bell housing adapter and the flywheel
What did you use for trans?
How much did they charge to paint it in oak ridge
Where did you get the 4bt?
Out of a 1990 or 89 p30 bread truck
What’s the idea behind turning the front tires backwards?
Just to see how many people even noticed. And to see how they rode.

Hey, is it alright if I pick your brain on some stuff. I'm doing a 4bt swap into a 1985 M1009 K5, and was curious about some parts numbers.
Sure. Like what numbers

Your wiring makes my eyes hurt
Whats your mpg
Both trucks between 20-24.
Blue is always 24 with no ac on.
What not?
And?
Should have just put a regular fanclutch from a dodge
It’s obvious you don’t know anything about 4bt’s
