My Avata fell out of the sky as a result of a prop failure. It dropped 150 ft into a pond and stayed underwater for 2 hours until I found it. I dried it off and covered it in isopropyl alcohol. Then let it dry for 72 hours. The battery was shot but when I put a new battery in, it started right up and has been flying flawlessly for the last month. I was shocked, amazingly durable drone!
So durable ! What a story man !
Thanks so much for the great info !!! I did my research and got the Explorer combo and I love that all I need is drone, googles and motion controller and I don’t need to plug in my phone !! Huge plus . It’s been so much fun flying this thing ❤❤❤
Didn't expect the support for M3P at first, but this is indeed a better package since I can now connect my M3P with Integra and MC2! ❤
I'm thinking this is why dji did it tbh. Though if we could get them to unlock using the dj rc pro controller with the goggles we would be set.
God damn it, the second “popular” blogger didn't know or didn't say about correction lenses in Integra googles, quality content mate.

I have the package and it’s great. Takes the drone hobby to a new level for me. If DJI could upgrade the original FPV drone to the Avata camera that would be over the top. Thanks for the great overview.

I was hoping after getting my Mavic 3 pro and rc pro controller I'd be done getting drones for a while. Sadly I'm considering getting a mini 3 pro as a backup maybe with the rc controller.
However this just confirms what I was thinking about. I started looking at this setup and really am wanting to get one. Especially since they unlocked the ability to use the goggles with the mavic 3 pro and mini 3 pro.
Sadly for those of us in the states at least, we have to have an observer to use them because the goggles dont meet the VLOS mandates. I believe other countries may be the same way.
If DJI unlocks goggle use with the rc pro controller ill get the goggles on the spot.

@@bhouse92101 it should be great fun indeed! I hope DJI will soon make the Mini 4 Pro compatible like the Mini 3 is with the goggles and controller. That would be awesome. I remember flying the MIni 2 with goggles, it was a much better experience than with a screen.
I wish I had the explorer combo!I love my avata but that combo solves many little quirks.
Little known feature of the MC2 is that pressing the dial on the left side while simultaneously turning it, will move the gimbal up and down, even when the aircraft is not flying.

I am seriously thinking of getting this combo... But do you use the FCC hack because from what I see the Avata is almost useless in CE mode ?
You can use the fcc hack you get a stronger signal but even with ce mode the signal is good enough

He addressed this in the video. It comes with a wide range of snap on lens diopters to cover a bunch of different prescriptions.

The only disadvantage with the Integra having an attached battery pack is that when it runs out all you can do is sit and wait while it recharges as the batteries are soldered within where at least with the goggles 2 you can just plug in a different battery

This is true and I agree with Darren that 2 hours is MORE than enough screen time.....However, you can plug in a portable battery and have it "charge" while you are flying, so no need to have multiple batteries just for the goggles. You probably already have a battery brick that you use, so you likely save space.
Out of curiosity, can you use MC2 with M3P without goggles?

Not sure if anyone has asked yet. I want to purchase the motion controller and the new goggles. I have the goggles 2. I want to get the Intergra. I know they come with the built-in battery. Can I still use the batteries on the new goggles if I need to? Can I in case of a emergency use the cord with my other goggles batteries?
Nope they don’t have the port, it’s just integrated that charges via usbc, you get around 2hrs of battery life

havent tested, but read elsewhere that you can charge it as you go (through the headset socket, there isn't one in the battery unit).
So COULD use a hefty powerbank and a lead to charge it as you go. Obv you lose the stream-google-screen-to-dji-app, and goes back to 'external battery' - but its an option :)
