Good looking boat and plenty of scope to bring it back into top condition. Looking forward to watching how you get on.
Concerning the rust stains...change out the screws to stainless ..and put weather stripping around the seat hatches to cover te screw heads and make the hatch more water resistant.. like they do in sailboats...maybe an easy fix.
