Fantastic recap video! It's amazing to see how much better the yacht looks now, and how much your UA-cam channel has grown. I hope that somehow the old owners find this video so they can see how nice their old broken boat has become. Well done!
Amazing amount of work done in two months. Congrats. Just by watching it I know I couldn’t do it, lack of skills and patience. Overwhelming the state of the before.
I just liked and subscribed! Love the teamwork and dedication. I’m surprised no one pointed out the danger of using plastic thru hulls beneath the water line. God forbid one cracks or worse! I would STRONGLY suggest replacing them for the correct metal thru hulls based on your boat makeup. Best of luck and great videos!
Thank you for subscribing ☺️ Nobody says anything because it is not plastic but glass-reinforced nylon. You can check TruDesign.nz if you didn’t know about this
I think otherwise and kind of cringed when I saw them being chopped up and tossed. It’s always easier and usually cheaper to repair the old than find and buy new.
Yep, but it was beyond the scope of current repair. Or we would have to stay the who knows how many months more XD The biggest problem is that originally two front windows were installed really badly and glass didn’t stay in one plane. I tried to align them as much as I could but still have to rebuild the whole thing in the future
you might want to use Epoxy in some places instead of the sealant like holes in the deck i'd fill those holes with epoxy t hey will never leak again and they will prevent core damage
I would like to contact you by email or otherwise to discuss your electric propulsion....I have studied the different processes for 2 years and I would like to bring you my ideas so that you have several perspectives.......and I have other questions as well. Greetings
The end result is remarkable but I wonder whether you would have undertaken this project if you knew the depth of the problems….especially all the rotten wood.
@@Searat7 yes, because the rest of the market is way worse, and we really got lucky even with these problems. We would not want to repeat all of this, but for the project we saw in our head this boat is perfect

I say windows. 😀
@markhuston9250 which ones?

The plastic thru hulls on the bottom are a no-no.
They are not made for below waterline use, they could deteriorate and break, brass is better
