THX you're the best
Thx I didn’t have to watch for it. That’s all I came for!
That's wrong
I know more than this 15
How do u choose on bedrock it shows 2 pages at the same time with the lectern so page 1 and 2 3 and 4 5 and 6 etc etc
The calibrated sculk sensor got buffed recently; it now has twice the detection radius as a normal sensor and also has a pulse duration of 1 second instead of 2 seconds
An even easier way to get a certain redstone signal strength is to use a comparator with a lectern and have a book on it with 15 pages, and the output depends on which page the book is turned to
That's awesome :D thanks for the info
Does this mean that resonance range with a calibrated skulk sensor has also increased?
@@dogyX3 Yes it does
@@spinz5937 nice
On Bedrock it has 2 pages open at the same time
@@ThatoneLlama 30 sounds 😱
my brain fell off
I don't know how this is some basic s***. These are essentially if statements with the condition already set for you. Nothing simpler than saying if this action is done then
You should glue it better next time. I thought everyone had already figured that out from school lessons!
Pick it up and dust it off.. it gets better
There being a tone for destroying blocks could make for a really cool alarm system for pvp forts. One of the hardest to deal with parts of fortification in minecraft is that it's super easy to break through a wall without being noticed. Set up a system to make alarms go off when blocks are broken, and you can alert other players of an intruder--probably without the intruder even realizing that such an alarm system exists until it's too late!
Too complicated
Ill keep with lava inside 3 layer walls with the middle bloxk being all lava
I’d love a calibrated sculk shrieker that would make different noises based on the redstone power they receive. That would simplify everything.
A way to set the frequency that a calibrated sculk sensor listens to is by placing a lectern with a 15-page written book inside it next to a redstone comparator connected to the calibrated sculk sensor and turning the page number to the specific frequency that is desired can do the work too.
Like write in it or just make 15 pages =d
@@pikminlightz9944make 15 pages with any words you could also just label them with numbers or put what it will detected for easier usage
How do you do that in bedrock though, cause bedrock has two pages open at once and it only reads the second page
@@sgt.universegaming2325 make it to were you have another lectern with comparator with the second set one page less than the first and you will get 1
@@sgt.universegaming2325you’re just gonna have to experiment. I’m on bedrock. Red stone DOES NOT function the same through Java and Bedrock
Mojang: "here is a block you can use for long distance signal transfers"
Also mojang: **Makes the maximum distance 7 blocks between relays, whilst making them FAR more expensive than traditional redstone lines.**
I am going to use this to lock my Allays into a spot. I kinda get tired of them wondering off. Also I hate having to leash them to a pole like some chained servent in order to keep them in the area. Now I can tie it to a note block and keep them in the area with this new feature.
Very interesting mechanic added to the game. I definitely think this is niche but could be cool for puzzles or secret mechanics and for storage and collection of items from mob farms.
Yet another stupid mechanic that doesn't integrate with the rest of the game. Fuck Mojang.
Watch mumbo jumbos video on it because its really cool and shows alot of potential to the new block
i love each of your guides, thank you so much
Another great video from the goat , your videos and ultimate guides are the reason why I even have anything in my inventory, thanks so much for all your tutorials
So happy to see your channel grow. Yahoo 🎉 Keep up the great vids. ♥️
I like how Eyecraftmc ends every video with the related topic in the outro! Very interesting to see what can be made out of this new feature to sculk!
Well done! Thanks for the vid!
great video, very clear!
Very easy tutorial thank you very much!
Thanks for explaining 👌🏼
Eye has the best tutorials with the best information explained in the best way - as usual!! Thank you for the great video with the perfect explanation on the most useful Minecraft information. I love that you use salmon and pumpkin pie as examples! Always unique and it’s so refreshing. 💚🌲
Fr real
Thanks for the guide dude.
Exactly what I needed to know thanks! Redstone can be far less complex for simple projects now 🎉
nice vid as always :3
As a returning Minecraft player I want to take time and thank you for making these useful videos I've recently introduced the game to my non gamer girlfriend and she loves it so much she is so excited to play everytime we get together. Although I haven't played for so long your videos are a great way for me to catch up with the updates and be the proplayer she think I am. Thank you so much for your work !
Hey eye! Are you ever going to continue the live streams world with the rad seed?
I'm imagining adventure style builds made that incorporate these sensors at various portions to activate the rs contraption built to progress ahead. It can help build in a sort of guided quest. Indiana Jones style. Take the treasure by breaking it and because breaking alerted the sensor, the boulder drops.
I would love a video on the differences between difficulties ! Easy/Normal/ Hard; I died in a hardcore unknowing about the raid difficulty !
keep up the good work❤❤❤❤
To me this update make redstone more valuable for builder and redstoner also increase someone creativity in minecraft and its feel like a new era for redstone from using dust to wireless vibration redstone
Thank u sm!!
We got bleutooth now😎 NICE🌟
You’re the only one I trust to explain this to me 😅
Great video. Iam subsxribing
You have the best totorials
U have best spelling mistakes
I was wondering about that Amethyst reverberation and what it meant. So it just carries the signal? Interesting. I've been meaning to make automatic doors and trapdoor and I didn't even know how these worked. So now that I know these can be configured for specific actions. This is gonna make it waaaay easier to pull off.
I want to build a silly thing that triggers on player damage in my base so that if my friend hits me it automatically puts them in jail. Idk like pistons seal them in an area or something
Sounds awesome you’d probably want to have a locking mechanism though but that would be easy to creater
Use lectern with a book, each of the first 15 pages gives of a signal strength to a comparator. Write the output/registration on each side.
This essentially allows for network technology and the internet to be created in Minecraft soon. How deep will we go😳
It’ll be worse than my wifi
cool, can't wait to make secret bases.
Impressive!
can you make a revised armour trim vid?
I’m going to pass my engineering class listening to this video
How to set up properly the different states of redstone power, the 15 different power levels of this block for lets say like a trap or for a door to open when eating for example?
Mechanic has potential but it needs a way to more practically create the lvl 1-15 signals
Maybe an amnethyst clock /timer with a 1-15 where you can choose the level
Other than that a wireless redstone signal (and silent one if you submerge in water the sensors) is a dream come true.
Do the new bookshelves give a power signal? And the book stand? Do pages count as power signals? This update is amazing
Are you Canadian? Also I love you!!
Can you activate the block Amethyst with redstone signal of certain strength?
Now imagine this: A Calibrated Relay - It is similar to a Calibrated Sensor, in which it only operates at a specified frequency, but can only transmit signals to other sculk blocks EXCEPT other Calibrated Relays tuned to different frequencies. In conjunction, a Calibrated Decoder, which cannot detect sound, that turns the frequency from a Sculk sensor system to an analog Redstone signal, matching the frequency transmitted.
The fact he placed the pickaxe in the centre of the hotbar, I have a sudden urge to cry 💀
😅
your intonation is like daily dose of internet's
ill just add if you want a specific power level to a calibrated skulk sensor you can use a lecturn with 15 pages and a comperator insted of a huge line of redstone.
So many possibilities for secret doors!
#Gimmick
Is there any way to farm echo shards?
Imagine having your secret base's cover blown by a new player crouching near the base and getting the sneak 100 achievement.
This changes everything Redstone. Wow. Can't wait to eat food to open a secret door in my base.
Is there a specific power level for a mob sound or specificly a zombie moan? I would love to make traps to attack mobs and not myself or other players
Unfortunatly sculk sensors do not detect sounds exactly, they detect vibrations. And I doubt there is a way to make a sensor block player-made vibrations.
@@Master_Brutus Sculk sensor activate shrieker only with player made vibration
@@icespider8199 i know that. You said the opposite of what i said
This can function as a helpful way to help you in a given server, but could also be used as the ultimate prank machine by setting it to the frequency of an action that a friend does often 😂😂😂
Haha yes, I'm so making a landmine field with this one
the new horror maps are going to be insane if an person who works with redstone decides to make one
I wonder if there’s a way to make a new auto fisher with this
GG eye craft for ur channel now it s amazing and u deserve 1 M suscribers since a lot of time 😊
Does this work the same in bedrock?
This is going to revolutionize tnt cannons
An analog lever from the create mod works too right? because its based on signal strength?
EDIT: i realize now you have redstone links in creates, whoops
Even the witch is sitting in her swamp hut scratching her head like "Wh...what...?!"
nice
I really like how you just use minecraft soundtrack in backround instead of other music...
i love how mojang has developed this redstone system to the game, it's open-endedness only adding to the open sandbox feel of freedom to create, whilst not being too invasive to other styles of playing like casual if you aren't too interested in it. It's definitely spawned a unique group of players that progress the possibilities of this game to the limits.
"17:47" really did enjoy this video
Noticed your subscriber count is 420K. That number's pretty high.
From that i can make an house protector when i am in the house i turn on the lever for 15 redstone and i go away i trun lever off and if anybody came in my house this will give frequency and my trap open and player will die
Dude it been a long time since I have played Minecraft and literally the first thing I said when I looked at the redstone section in the creative menu is "WTF IS A CALIBRATED SCULK SENSOR???"
The calibrated skulk sensor with the lectern is giving me issues on choosing frequency because the book shows 2 pages at the same time on bedrock please help
Cool now we can make remote controllers just using an item.
Im not nerding out here but yo…… any other controls guys realizing you can make logic gates now?
Bro you are smart at all all vid are longer than 18 mins how much you make money ?
I love updates
I feel so smart after watching this.
Question: So if the calibrated sculk sensor vibration travels a certain distance, will the redstone signal be the distance it travels?
(e.g the vibration travels 5 blocks the redstone signal will be 5)
Hey idk if you will even see this but no, the distance the redstone signal travels will always be the same when it’s coming from a calibrated skulk sensor (and regular skulk sensor), which is different to redstone. This is what eyecraft means when he says the redstone signal is preserved wirelessly, if the signal is 13 but it travels 7 blocks, the signal will still be 13 and vice versa. Hope this helped in some way
How do i get it to only detect a bell sound then?
"ok scoob, lets raid that ancient city"
How about instead of filling a barrel with stacks I use single blocks? Does it still work? So I just spread out plank blocks in it
Nope but a lectern would work if you just used a comparator and turned to the page of the signal strengths would work
"Eye hope you enjoyed"
Love your little hidden jokes in your videos
what about putting a music box with it?
Whats that Songs name at 16:30 🥺
I didn’t even know this was in the game
Imagine a hangar that automatically open whenever you fly home
Remember when the calibrated sculk sensor was just an amythest slab with sculk sensor stuff on top and it did nothing?
The best thing is 2 since mobs cant jump so u can use it for ur door
A cool way to really calibrate a sculk sensor would be to use noteblocks. Have a calibrated sculk sensor, place an amethyst block next to it for resonance, then place a noteblock on the input side. The sensor would now only react to that specific note. This way, it would allow for truly wireless redstone, without the risk of unnecessary interference by someone randomly eating a porkchop in the area.
Unfortunately, it does not work that way 😒
why would you want this tho? what does it accomplish because you wouldn’t be able to make the noteblock play without further redstone, making it useless
@@thecakedeliver9487 Let's say you have selector panel with different noteblocks and sculk sensors calibrated to each of them. So each button signal is activating a specific sculk sensor. Now, having a note block on the input side, those sensors would not react to any other vibration than said note block. So you wouldn't have to worry about ambient interference (like a zombie growling and activating something accidentally)
Furthermore, since sculk sensors do emit a redstone signal, you could also have the same noteblock on the output side, therefore playing the noteblock and extending the signal.
Eye hasthe 😢😢🎉❤
Do you think the music artists for Minecraft will add new soundtracks for the 1.20 update?
power level 6 got the cat actin strange😳
I plan on making it run into a command block so whenever I eat a piece of food it gives me another piece of food
When are we gonna get 1.20?
This could be used to turn on and off farms from far away
You forgot to add the part about the book and quill
Now we can open secret doors just by eating a food 😅 in a certain distance in a certain area
I play Bedrock (PE to be specific) and recently created a modded world. Saw this in the recipe book thing and thought it was a modded thing 😂
But how will this affect LeBrons legacy? 🤔
mojan secretly added wireless redstone
Yes! That means I csn make an artificial shrieker
