I know nothing about camping, but am looking for a cumin package to put up around the pool deck for kids to do “drop in” movies. Essentially like ‘wet and wild’ on Gold Coast used to do… kids floating in pool watching movies. This video was great, informative and helped me make my decision to buy. Thank you great work

Have you found a way to upgun the sound, I tried connecting the projector to my Bose portable speaker but still couldn't get the volume where I would like. Any suggestions?
unsure the lumen or resolution of this one but jar car also do 4k ones with 7000 lumen so might be worth a look for using when a bit more light around for $300 so not much more if they are decent
Have you tried screen mirroring your phone straight to the projector to watch Netflix? We haven’t got it to work. Thinking of getting a lightening to hdmi cord to try
I love 12v TV's but I always find it hard packing them in the car somewhere they aren't going to get damaged without going to the extreme of designing your canopy or setup to have one permanently mounted
Does anyone know what brand of device to select when trying to use a universal remote for this projector? Trying to get my google remote to power it on and off. Cheers
Honestly mate i understand that they sent it to you to review but what a waste of time. I bought one of these a year ago for a 1/3rd of the price off ebay. Same specs as the kickass one. My kids used it 2 times before i sold it. We go camping for the outdoor experience not to take technology with us. I understand everyones different but why go camping to do what you could at home . Great vid though 👍👍🍻🍻🍻🍻
That's what I tried to bring across in the video. It's definitely not an essential camping item. But I can see families enjoying it. They didn't just send me this item I requested it as it's something I genuinely want to use & I think it still has a market even though not everyone will like it

I miss having kids that age who just enjoyed the outdoors. But unfortunately my kids are older now and I have to bribe them with technology to come camping with me 🤣

Hi just received mine yesterday. It doesn’t have problem when source is from usb stick but when I try to connect it to my iphone, I need to connect it both to same wifi (doing this @ home), which is easy on iphone because I can type password on it but the projector remote doesnt have querty to type those password. Have you tried it ? And today bought cables (lighting to VGA adapter and VGA to HDMI) just to make it work but still it doesn’t.
These projectors are a waste of money. None of the technology works on it. Tried connecting multiple Bluetooth speakers without success. The speakers are detected but they do not connect, yet the same speakers connect without issue to a range of other devices. I even updated all the firmware just to make sure. Tried using Mirror Cast and it's glitchy and basically unwatchable.

What's it like on 12volt power usage wise. Thinking this would be great in the camper for our teens on rainy nights when we are off grid.
I haven't tried it on 12v yet but going by the specs it uses around 4amps

I run it through my car stereo through Bluetooth and hadn't noticed much of a delay but there definitely can be. Cable is always better if possible

Yeah I don't bother using the Bluetooth. It's too much information to try to transfer via Bluetooth so I always plug directly into the projector

Can you plug in a portable DVD player into my projector.
I haven't used this in a long time but I believe it had a hdmi input. So as long as your DVD player has a hdmi cord it should be fine
cool toy but ill stick to a 12volt tv if i feel the need to watch tv/movies while camping.
