    wow, nice video!It would be better if the projector bag could be improved, because the power supply is placed on the projector for fear of being pressed

    Does it have a headphone jack to connect to external speaker? Bluetooth connections always seem to lag. Cheers

    Hello KickAss, what format do USB need to be please? I've just tried to use mine for the first time. Downloaded a movie from Apple TV on my Mac and when I tried to play it on the projector it says something like format not recognised.

      G'day mate,i would try to re format the usb again & then retry a different format as sometimes macs tend to have there own special language that only other macs like,or also try using a pc & see if that helps
      Cheers Craig

    Why do you prefer fire stick over the chromecast?
    They seem to have similar power draw via usb and functionality.
    Bonus: most people have one at home already.

      The main reason is that the Chromecast requires that you are running the "Google Home App" and connect to a wifi network, If you are camping that requires you to have 1 phone with an open wifi network with "Google Home" running and another phone running as a Mobile HotSpot.
      The Firestick will connect to a mobile hotspot directly.
      Firestick also does have a slightly lower power draw.

      Ofcourse!
      I didn’t think about having to have a seperate device to create the wifi for both the projector and the steaming device.
      The Google Home app isn’t required anymore for the chromecast but I can absolutely see your point about an extra device needed.
      Looks like the fire stick is a clear winner for this projector.
      For me personally, I have a plethora of geeky tech items laying around so having a dedicated wifi device is no problem and I can dedicate one of our spare chromecasts to the Projector full time so it can live in the bag with the rest of its gear.
      Really great video and I can’t wait to test out your product!
      Just need to sort out how to attach a screen to our Coleman event 14 sun shelter.

    Thanks for the video, I would like to upgun the audio. I tried connecting an external speaker via the audio jack, but even connect to my Bose portable speaker I don't seem to be able to get it any louder. Do you have any suggestions? Cheers.

      Hi Mike, The projector is very low power 50W so it will not be able to drive a large speaker. You made need to run it through an amplifier or a powered speaker if you want it louder.

    What's the 12V current drain when playing a movie (am wanting to know the current drain of the projector, not the Firestick as posted above)?

    • @KickAssProducts
      @KickAssProducts  2 роки тому +2

      Power usage is 50 watts or about 4.5 amps per hour on 12 volt.

    Can you connect this to a DVD player?

    • @KickAssProducts
      @KickAssProducts  2 роки тому +2

      The projector does have a HDMI input as well as a 3 pin 2.5mm jack that will accept an AV splitter to accomodate a DVD player
